Indian Premier League - General Discussion

His brother is/was the greatest of all time..

The guy who had seven lives. :p :D Yep... He'd send the shivers down the spine everytime we saw him during our childhood. I'd not even want to look at him as he'd give me nightmares. Well, we need a seperate thread for talking about this. :D

.........

By the way on topic, how are other teams training up for this? I am following CSK's training news and videos and they've drummed up some pretty heavy nostalgia among the fans on social media already. Today, CSK had a training day with most of the squad members attending it and the stadium was almost full (free entry of course!). Harbhajan looks all set to take over the mantle of the lead spinner. He's already gelling really well and I wont be surprised if he plays in a lot of the games. With Tahir, Harbhajan, Jadeja, Karn Sharma in the team, probably that's why CSK has not pressed for a replacement for Santner yet.

I was just wondering, if IPL will be the same IPL we grew up watching or Star is going to change it. I'm talking about the ExtraInnings part and all other trivial things, which somehow mattered, atleast to me.

Don't underestimate the real 'Mitch', he won us the final last year.

Russell was injured in the psl , Lynn another injury prone guy and now Starc's done. If former two are somehow injured again or not recovered from their prev injuries KKR are going to be in a real mess this season a lot will depend on the U19 guys for KKR to do well this season.

Its fair to say KKR messed up big time this season. I had forseen it at the auctions it self. Lynn and Starc are the most injury prone guys, so buying them as your mains was a wrong choice.[DOUBLEPOST=1522560048][/DOUBLEPOST]
Hashim Amla would have been a better choice. AS much as aggressive was Warner, it was his consistency that won SRH matches. Hales is aggressive but nowhere near consistent. That is why Hash would’ve been better.
