Indian Premier League - General Discussion

This is the best I have seen Shikhar Dhawan batted for a such consistent run in a International year it started with last year's Ipl where he scored 479 runs then CT 2017 and so on. Also feel he has slightly tweaked his technique working with maybe VVS laxman or Bangar or whoever it is allowing him to play well on the backfoot as well which was his achillies hils previously and the recently concluded SA ODI and t20 series are perfect example of it where he was quite comfortable playing the likes of Rabada, Morkel, Ngidi and even Morris whenever they peppered him some Short Stuff.
Touch wood ;p

SRH Need to find a way to get Hales into the line up so he can open, Saha is a joke

Saha isn't a joke, he can bat and bat well. Just need to back him up a bit which I am happy as SRH seem to be doing so. Also, their 4 OS players are all doing good so far so it is difficult as is. And that shot by Manish Pandey was so poor given the stage of the game! A run a ball is all what was needed and he goes for such a stupid shot.

Agree with this.

However good Stanlake has been, he needs to give way for Hales as SRH have many pacers to replace him (Sandeep, Basil, Khaleel) but not openers.[DOUBLEPOST=1523554038][/DOUBLEPOST]With Shakib gone now, we are in so much danger. Just hope Yusuf takes his experience and plays sensibly. The match is within our hands if we do so.

Fizz has come to haunt SRH :p

Wow what a stupid chase this has been by SRH. Pandey started it all and all the other batters followed. They need about run a ball in 10 overs with plenty of wickets in hand. How can you lose from there!

Poor start and ball by Cutting!

What a bowler!!!!
Mayank Markande
7 wickets in 2 matches.

SRH won by 1 wicket.

Remember the name! STANLAKE!

Cutting needs to have a cutting after this match. That was some poor bowling, a tough competitor to Vinay Kumar :p

Not exactly. He bowled well, except that full toss (that too was a close one). It was somewhat some mistakes in captaincy by Rohit, not bringing the field in, when Stanlake faced the ffirst ball.

Too hard to digest two in two. But after 147, it was a great effort. Feel for Mayank, 7/46 and he hasn't seen the joy of a win.

@AliB why isnt Pollard bowling, he could have tried his hand today and probably more experienced to Cutting.
