Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Banglore's IPl franchise needs a complete overhaull tbh be it players, owners , logos, name , management, captain etc.

TBH AB has always fell short of runs on big occasion for RCB in past 3 yrs or so except that 70 odd which he scored in 2016 IPL Qualifier to take his team through to the Final

I heard that JSW steels were planning to buy RCB from Vijay Mallya back in 2015. I was really hoping this could mean a complete revamp to the team in terms of name, logo, support staff, owners etc..

I'm really impressed how successful the Bangalore FC has been under the ownership of JSW. They have a nice team with good owners and support staff.

The only man to be blamed is the captain Kohli who has been backed by broken management and support staff.
The management cannot be faulted even people there are being shuffled continuously Kirsten and Nehra are now leading since last couple of years, Vettori was incharge for couple of years after he retired before him Ray Jennings was the coach and Banglore's best year came in when he was incharge (2009 - 2012).Kohli has been given too much power and that is what needs to be assessed or Changed.

Well they managed to buy 50% of the Delhi franchise hence the change in name , logo etc. and more importantly performances this year for Delhi.

The players who have left RCB to join other teams have perfomed well.

Watson - CSK
Sarfaraz - KXIP
Gayle - KXIP
Kedar Jadav - CSK
QDK - Mumbai
Mayank Agarwal - RPSG, KXIP
KL Rahul?

I didn't know that. But it can't be denied that JSW have a X-factor in them for managing/owning sports teams. They own 3 teams - Bengaluru FC, Delhi Capitals - Haryana Steelers - All the 3 teams have been performing really well in their respective sports apart from HS's 2018-19 season.

He did perform well in RCB too but not to the extent of how well he is performing for KXIP.
I don't know why RCB retained Sarfaraz in place of Rahul last season.

Kohli gone. And a total shambles. Perhaps this season the franchise can be renamed NCB. The Non Challengers Bangalore.

Few of us call them HaarCB here in India

Haar is a Hindi word which means "to lose" . And that is what they do. They lose every now and then at crucial junctures. Don't know what's the problem with them but they just don't win !!!

RCB should go with ABD and Kohli as openers in this game, because all knows only these two can able to chase that 232 target... We gave away Quinton to Mumbai, now we stuck with Parthiv... Hetmyer looks like badest version of out of form Gayle... Our bowlers do good batting than our batsman...
