MI qualify and have a shot at the Top 2 if they win their last game. Even if they don't win their last game, they could be in Top 2 if DC lose to RR. And MI play the last game of the league, which gives them the luxury of exactly knowing what to do, something which CSK took advantage of in the early years of IPL when they often used to dash hard towards the playoff spot.
Wondering why did CSK always play against KXIP as their last league game? Its been happening almost every year since that Dharmashala game where Dhoni did that famous "jaw punch" after dismantling Irfan Pathan in the last over (duh?). Maybe the IPL organizers purposely put it that way
