Big Stoin's impressive run in the BBL came as an opener. At number six I don't think he would be anywhere near as impressive. Do Delhi have no other all-rounder options (both domestic and international?)[DOUBLEPOST=1598994603][/DOUBLEPOST]

Better to go for Sandeep Lamichanne on dry pitches instead of Hetmyer. Rahane can bat no. 3 and everyone else comes one position down. Also gives Iyer the no. 4 spot at which he will be batting for India.

Hetmyer is a beast versus spin, RCB did not back him adequately last season IMO. If he is managed properly, he could be a real steal for Delhi.

They have Stoinis, Keemo Paul, Ashwin, Axar, Daniel Sams, Woakes and Lalit Yadav.

He is nowhere near as good as Malinga with a white ball but Patto offers a valuable option as a bowler who can hold on to the bat which can shore up a weak tail in most games.

Don't think pattinson will get game time considering Boult CoulterNile and Bumrah with Hardik and also McClehneghan also being loyal to MI

But last 2 seasons he isn't even managing to take wickets and being a retired player he is very much off his bowling now. I felt getting a spinner was a wise choice considering we only have Chahar and Krunal. Roy I haven't seen much but being on bench for last 2 years I don't think he would suddenly turn up and do well or else he would've already made the team by now.

Players like Umesh Yadav & Coulter-Nile have just been ignored . Umesh TBH has matured now , seeing him bowl in the recent tests . Should get another run in 50-overs ......

And Steve Smith is bunny of Umesh Yadav ....

And oh I forgot that we even have Jayant Yadav. So probably Pattinson is a good choice.
