This one looks pretty grear, except for the fact that Devdutt Padikkal should open instead of Parthiv (or Finch, then an extra overseas bowler can play)

SRH

:aus: :bat: David Warner :os: :c:
:eng: :wkb: Jonny Bairstow :os:
:ind: :bat: Manish Pandey
:ind: :ar: Vijay Shankar
:ind: :bat: Virat Singh
:afg: :ar: Mohommad Nabi :os:
:ind: :ar: Abhishek Sharma
:afg: :ar: Rashid Khan :os:
:ind: :bwl: Bhuvneshwar Kumar
:ind: :bwl: Sandeep Sharma
:ind: :bwl: Sid Kaul

Most of the positions are set, except the no. 5... Haven’t seen Virat Singh bat but have heard about his big hitting, so could be a great option there.

Remember those days, when SRH used to be a pace dominated side. Now it’s heavily dependent on its spinners :p[DOUBLEPOST=1598868736][/DOUBLEPOST]If we wanna go for a spin heavy side, Shahbaz Nadeem can come in for someone

Also, I really feel bad for Kane Williamson. He has the baddest of luck among all overseas players. Singlehandedly, handled the batting for SRH in Warner’s absence, gets pushed back to the banch when he comes back. Cruel.

AbD keeping should free a slot for Padikkal who was the most outstanding batsman on the domestic circuit last season. Would have been criminal to leave him out after that. Him and Finch or even Parthiv should the South African not prefer keeping should be good as openers. I remember AbD also keeping wickets once in the BBL too. Has he found a new role for himself in the twilight of his career?

Kane Williamson is most likely to be released next season as he would not be a fit for Bayliss's high energy setup. Wouldn't be surprised if CSK picked up him too.

No mega auction between IPL 2020 and IPL 2021

So we might see Kane in SRH for 2021 as well

Dhruv Shorey was released by CSK. :p

I think, this will be the final lineup:
  1. :aus: :ar: Shane Watson :os:
  2. :eng: :ar: Sam Curran:os:
  3. :ind: :bat: Ambati Rayudu
  4. :ind: :wkb: MS Dhoni:c:
  5. :ind: :ar: Kedar Jadhav
  6. :wi: :ar: Dwayne Bravo:os:
  7. :ind: :ar: Ravindra Jadeja
  8. :ind: :ar: Piyush Chawla
  9. :ind: :bwl: Shardul Thakur
  10. :ind: :bwl: Deepak Chahar
  11. :saf: :bwl: Imran Tahir :os:
Let's see, how MSD will go! [HASHTAG]#WhistlePodu[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#Yellove[/HASHTAG]

Curran as the opener? Very bold move as he is no Willey who would have been much better there. I would love to see Curran in the lineup though, he has an 'X-factor' about him that makes him perform well even in situations where he normally does not.

Really surprised that no one has mentioned Gaikwad as an option for the opener's role yet. If he recovers well along with Chahar he would be my first preference for a domestic opener, even over the likes of Vijay. Man has been excellent for India A as an opener (it was List A cricket but at the pace he plays, might as well have been T20s) and it is criminal that he has not played a single game in two seasons. Has also been very solid for Maharashtra and is just twenty-three years old. Get him established in the team and you have a potential international opener for the next ten years. I do not think Jadhav has bowled in the IPL and it is strange to see him listed as an all-rounder by everyone. Unless the pitch is a dusty minefield, I don't expect Dhoni to bowl him either. Agree with Dhoni higher up the order given the paucity of reliable top order options but he really needs to step up his game versus spinners and rotate strike at the very least. If not, I wouldn't mind Jadhav playing at four as he does have experience for Maharashtra in a top four. Rayudu instead of Raina is the big sticking point at the point but Rayudu does perform well when he is focused on just his game so hopefully he is able to step it up now that he has been out of the spotlight for sometime. This would be my lineup

  1. :aus: :ar: Shane Watson :os:/ :saf: :bat: Faf du Plessis :os:(Faf would be my first choice but Watto for the first two games isn't the worst idea in the world)
  2. :ind: :bat: Ruturaj Gaikwad
  3. :ind: :bat: Ambati Rayudu / :ind: :ar: Suresh Raina (if he does return)
  4. :ind: :wkb: MS Dhoni :c:
  5. :ind: :bat: Kedar Jadhav (has been very unimpressive but no choice here)
  6. :eng: :ar: Sam Curran:os:
  7. :ind: :ar: Ravindra Jadeja
  8. :wi: :ar: Dwayne Bravo:os: / :saf: :bwl: Lungi Ngidi :os:
  9. :ind: :bwl: Shardul Thakur/:ind: :bwl: Piyush Chawla
  10. :ind: :bwl: Deepak Chahar
  11. :saf: :bwl: Imran Tahir :os:

Six bowling options who could all give you at least 2-3 overs and batting depth right until number ten. Bravo was very poor last season and looked like he was figured out. He wouldn't even be my first choice but it is unlikely that we see a radical change given that he will be match fit after CPL. If his poor form persists though I wouldn't hesitate to bring back Ngidi in who was outstanding versus England. Chawla or Thakur should play depending on the type of pitch.[DOUBLEPOST=1598872796][/DOUBLEPOST]

Trevor Bayliss fixed that.

Wouldn't Pandey prefer to bat in the middle order to further push his chances for a spot in the Indian T20I lineup? While he is best at three, India have used him decently at six and it is his only route into the national lineup. Has there been any news regarding that? Him playing down the order also allows for Priyam Garg to play in the top order as an accumulator which is his best role.

I don’t think SRH would wanna risk playing him down the order once again, considering we already wasted 1 and a half season on it, and still he couldn’t perform.

I wouldn't move Rohit for sure. He wasn't doing that well in the middle order in 2017 & 2018 IPL while he performed well as an opener the entire season in 2019. My line up would be
