Fantasy cricket this season has been extremely weird with the pricing and classification of player roles. The points system that rewards an expensive spell with one wicket over a very economical one with no wickets is a joke too.
I was talking about Planet Cricket one. I am one 13th :(

Bowling Chakravarthy with one of the best players at handling spin in the world was not a very good move at all.

RCB on a roll! Well, great start for them to this tournament. Top of the board and their cylinders seem to be firing from the right directions. I will still reserve my 'dislike for Kohli the captain' (not specific to today's match; which I did not watch as it was early for me), but I am happy to see him among the runs today.

On the DC vs KKR match - Sharjah games are soon turning out to be snooze fests. It's becoming a case of 'who hits harder, who clears boundary more often, who hits more sixes, etc.'. This venue deserves a bowling machine, not a real human bowler. I think the only match I can watch being played in Sharjah is if CSK is playing it and thats because they will find ways to make things harder for their batting and as a consequence, make the game interesting :p

Bairstow's got two 50s and you're dropping him?

Kohli got some 70 odd today. In a few innings, he will 100% leapfrog de Villiers in the 'most runs' category. AB, Buttler or Pollard have never got orange caps but I can pretty much guarantee that if there was an open auction people would pay buckets for them and not Kohli. I think Bairstow is in the same bracket. He's a flat track bully and it's absolutely pathetic if Williamson/Nabi have to sit out any games to have JB.

Also, most people have not seen Abdul Samad bat here. He has the potential in him to be the next Yuvraj Singh and hit sixes the size of MS Dhoni. His off side is absolutely barren but he is cow corner king. A lot of franchises still obsess over big names. I think it's madness Narine is playing and Banton is warming the bench. In ten years, Gill & Banton as an opening combo will make franchises drool.

Warner
Goswami
Pandey
Williamson
Samad
Nabi
Rashid
Nadeem (such an underrated option)
Kaul
Natarajan
Sandeep Sharma / Basil Thampi

I have 0 idea why Thampi isn't getting a go at it. If it's Sharjah then replace Nadeem with another quick. Also, Abhishek Sharma is a very talented kid. Just needs time.

Average boosting runs. 0 impact. Not a match winnings innings.

Almost anyone watching would have shared the same frustration I guess. Morgan needs to do something very special from here on.

Sad to see Dinesh Karthik struggle to time balls these days when he was in the form of his life for over two years.

One thing to be positive about current RCB side is that each player is stepping up and performing their duties. Not much burden on big 3 this season. We have won 3 games where Kohli haven't scored more than 15 runs in 2 games. As I already said, Devdutt is the best thing ever happened to RCB after a long time. He gives me 2016 KL Rahul-esque vibe, Dev has a lot of potential and don't be surprised if he gets picked as a openers alongside Rohit for first T20I series after IPL. Chahal has been his usual self - Champion Bowler for RCB.

Coming to second game, Sharjah is a batting Paradise. Not surprised to see 200+ runs in every game, today game is no different. Delhi deserve to win for their phenomenal batting and brilliant bowling.
