Indian Premier League - General Discussion

This has been a genuinely intriguing contest till now. Just a shame that Pant was injured, his injury seems to have thrown the entire side's balance out of whack.

I think Hardik Pandya wanted to celebrate his birthday today hence he got out early. ;)

Apart from the partnership of Dhawan and Iyer, Delhi's batting was a massive let down. They should've scored 180+. It was very much appreciable with how much domination Mumbai have chased this total down. The teams around should learn from them about how to pace your innings while chasing totals like these.

Clinical! Just clinical, should've finished a couple of overs early though.

If Sky or Qdk had stayed on, it was possible. This chase was a case study for other franchises to see. The RRR never exceeded 9 and every batter made sure they didn't put pressure on the upcoming batsman or the non striker.

It is my belief that this template is the modern way and yields better % in terms of results in your favour. I think taking it deep is very risky as all eggs are in the 'set batsman has to finish it' basket.

Top chase. More importantly, correct attitude.

Shaw won the match for Mumbai today

I just discovered Iceland Cricket's Twitter.

Pretty sure it is run by an Indian immigrant at the very least with the references they drop.

Finch to score a 100 today - 108 in 63 :p

or it could be 8 in 13

Will be interesting to see who opens today for us. Rahul and Gill are in form but Banton is an opener. We did good in terms of keeping Narine out until the appeal is won. We do not want to lose his bowling for sure. Bit thin in our bowling lineup though today. We definitely need to improve our fielding.

We need to keep investing in Gill, Prasidh, Nagarkoti and Mavi. What happens in Mega auction, how players get shuffled will be interesting.

Playing extra batsman is going to cost us. Already 54 of last 3, probably 40 more in last 2?[DOUBLEPOST=1602516971][/DOUBLEPOST]Also its insane that in 9 years at RCB, Kohli and AB have scored 3000 + runs.

KKR bowled really well despite having only five bowlers upto the point ABD came in. And when he gets going he's unstoppable.

But now KKR still have the luxury of going hard early with the amount of big hitting batsmen they have in their lineup.
