Spot on pretty much - KXIP would have won this game without Gayle as well, thanks to the opening partnership and Kohli's brilliant bowling choices. Now they are stuck with him - dont think they can cross a character like him after he has just scored a 50 in a winning cause

You have chahal's 2 overs and you gave to Siraj to spoil the game... you have Udana for this type of pitch and for death overs, VK still not gave him over... And in 1st innings changes, is all different chapter of VK's specialist captaincy... VK is always be a best player of all format of cricket, because he keep it simple as a batsman, but he can't do same as a captain... He did really good in last 7 games, when he kept it simple, but he did terrible today by changing too much...

Batting order as well as Bowling choices - simply pathetic

Yeah I was quite surprised why Morris was bowling early in the innings. He isn't someone who would get you wickets with the new ball. Instead the overs should've been distributed between Saini, Udana and Siraj while one end should've been bowled by Sundar in just one spell. But I honestly wouldn't mind AB batting down the order considering he is keeping as well and hasn't been looking fresh on the field either. But Sundar over Dube and Dube over Morris wasn't a good move. It should've been Dube, Morris & De Villiers while Sundar must be batting at as high as 7 and not more than that. Why even try fix something which isn't broken? I am very sure that Kohli is afraid of losing the spot in top 4 and hence that desperation have come back to eat him.

I don't think Kohli was particularly great as a captain previously either, it took several games until he gave Sundar the powerplay spinner role, Chahal has frequently bowled overs in the powerplay, Saini looks like damaged goods with his role changing from game to game. Finch has played every game for some reason despite looking lost in even his good performance(s). You look at a Rohit or Dhoni and you know that they will not deviate from their winning formula once they happen upon it. Heck, they don't change it even after a couple of losses as they know one bad game does not turn anyone into a bad performer. Kohli is the opposite, he makes changes WHEN the team is winning.
