We see the team's defending 160-170 total, RCB also capable to do that, but we need to change our captain's special twist and turns thinking...
Sundar bowls and take wickets in powerplay, VK didn't gave bowl to him... You have chahal's 2 overs and you gave to Siraj to spoil the game... you have Udana for this type of pitch and for death overs, VK still not gave him over... And in 1st innings changes, is all different chapter of VK's specialist captaincy... VK is always be a best player of all format of cricket, because he keep it simple as a batsman, but he can't do same as a captain... He did really good in last 7 games, when he kept it simple, but he did terrible today by changing too much...
Rohit also open but his average is only 33 (since 2013).Kohli is not even top 5 in T20 cricket. His average and runs scored will always be up there, because he will open or bat at 3
As an RCB supporter (yeah, yeah ..) what should I wish for tomorrow's match up?
KKR to lose and stay below RCB
or
MI to lose and stay at same points as RCB, but KKR comes up to the same points as well
Rohit also open but his average is only 33 (since 2013).
If you want to save money you don't let go the biggest name in cricket. It's why Dhoni could probably play for CSK until he's 50.For long term's sake, if Bangalore's ownership was seriously interested in winning the trophy they would have released Kohli years ago. Sure, you would be the laughing stock of the cricketing world for a season (as if the current franchise already isn't) for releasing one of the best batsmen in the world who is also the Indian 'captain'. You would also be mocked after a fired up Kohli does a repeat of the 2016 season. However in the long term the money saved and the 'freedom' from his idiotic captaincy would be of huge benefit. For 17 crores, you look for a top class captain who can lead his side to victory either with the bat or through his strategic thinking and current Kohli is neither.
Rohit also open but his average is only 33 (since 2013).
I disagree. I felt like the 2018 and last year's team weren't just up there since they had no reliable batting options barring Kohli & De Villiers while the likes of De Kock was managed terribly. And before that also they have been a terrible bowling side right since 2011 season when Vettori was the Captain. We have best all-round team in the last 13 years, but still we lose game like this...
Guess he was saying that in response to that claim of @LiveLoveABD that Kohli's stats are good only because he opens or plays at 3.I don't think anyone is claiming that Rohit is a top five T20 batsman though. Despite his incredible T20I record I would hesitate before placing him in my top ten.
