Seems good. This looks like a combination that should do the job, at least on paper. I would slightly prefer a different batting order though.

I would probably give Khaleel a game or two to redeem himself but only if we are out of contention for playoffs.

@Ohm @NilayShah60 I have a strong feeling that Lynn will play today...

Rohit
QDK
Lynn
Surya
Pollard
Hardik
Krunal
Rahul
Kulkarni
Boult
Bumrah

I feel this is going to be the XI, if Ishan is not fit.

Don't mind Kulkarni at all, always felt that he was unlucky to be playing in a dysfunctional Rajasthan side who exposed his limited nature more often. Use him with his limitations in mind and you can have an adequate pacer for your side. If Lynn plays, he should open with Rohit coming in at three. Chennai's only option with real pace would be Hazlewood and I don't think Lynn would have any issues playing him. Jadeja is unlikely to bowl with QDK at the crease and Chawla's brand of bowling can be dealt with by Lynn's classical sweeps. If Lynn fires, he could have your side looking at 200 plus total easily.

No Sharmaji - Pollard leading. Auspicious start for CSK

prediction: Tahir miyan to get a 4-fer tonight

Still no Lynn is shit.

Three very welcome changes for CSK, no Watto is a bit of a bummer as I don't think he was struggling with timing like other overseas batsmen but Hazlewood hasn't done anything wrong to be dropped and Tahir deserved a game alongside the likes of Gaikwad and Jagadeesan in roles higher up the order. Wouldn't mind seeing Curran floating down the order tonight.

Boult was all over Gaikwad in that over, amazing bowling!

The "no spark in youngsters" comment just got a massive facelift a few minutes back. Still stick to my opinion that it was a wrong comment and could've possibly put these guys under further deeper pressure. I wish they are persisted with, with Dhoni putting a hand on their shoulders

Dhoni coming in the 2nd over is a sight that I've rarely seen.

Feel so bad for Gaikwad and Jagadeesan

There was going to be only one result after Dhoni's 'speech' after the previous game. They would have a whole load of pressure on them.

Just got off the phone.

3 for 4

Gaikwad looked like he desperately wanted to get off strike. Pretty clear where the issue lies in this team.
