Indian Premier League - General Discussion

I really want a stat on a game by game basis as to what the NRR was when Kohli came to bat and what it was when he got out and the same for AB?

Unfortunately I can't get it for KL!

If anyone can explain to me why Mann is playing ahead of Dube and I am not counting the bowling? :lol

In my childhood a lot of my elders told me Sachin was bad at the job!

This bad?

I just want to know?

I think G Mann is playing because he has not been dismissed this IPL. His fabulous SR of below 100 is obviously not as good as a Dube who has been getting out constantly! Does Dube strike it at above 125?

All the hate towards Shastri is one side. This idiot who has been captain for 10 years and should have easily qualified by now with this side needs to be sacked.

I don't care if they win this year, when will this fool be sacked? Fuc/< RCB! When does this happen for India?

Hyderabad and Bangalore games have always been a true rival clash over the past few seasons with all the tussles over playoff spots, a mostly even record for both teams and that 2016 final. Thought SRH were good value for their win after the way they bowled.

Funniest moment of the game might be Kohli implying that the toss was a bad one to lose and that they couldn't predict that dew would play such a huge role later on.. only to say a few moments later that dew has been prevalent in Dubai and Sharjah over the last few games in the post-match presentation. What makes it even funnier is that Kohli was extremely confident about batting first with the pitch being dry and slowing down as the game progresses at the toss so he did not mind losing the toss. To think that this man is our national captain! :lol

And on the other hand, Rohit Sharma predicts like a boss that teams chasing are going to start winning in the second half of the tournament and a game after he said this, the tournament turned drastically in favor of teams batting second.

Its so damn hard and frustrating to feel that until Kohli literally gives up captaincy for good, NO ONE ELSE in Indian cricket can become the captain on a permanent basis.

@SaiSrini take a moment to feel the pain people like me are feeling with RCB! I actually knew this was going to happen. I am not posting this out of any self proclamation or boasting.. Just pain!!

I have seen AB go through feelings which I have felt for 15 years now and it looms large again. Take this post with a pinch of salt for what you are experiencing with CSK because this is what people like me experience every fuc/< ing year!!!

Called the team before forget a ball was bowled but before 3 games!

Oh... I have felt RCB fans pain and have even felt pity for them on many occasions. Maybe I've not been vocal about it here because I've always disliked RCB for sticking to Kohli as its captain (never liked that guy's personality on the cricket field, except for his beautiful batting) and so my pity comments for the fans (like you) don't come out.

I understand man! I wish RCB gets rid of Kohli the captain and appoints someone else. But I see them following the same path as the Indian cricket board - give Kohli unlimited power and literally allow him to choose how long he wants to stay captain!

Oh it's been donkey years I have been hoping, even dying to see AB in yellow under MSD. It will never happen, as will my dream of seeing AB with a major LOI trophy.

I have grown used to it. 2013 was my last sporting triumph so I've sort of been used to it.

Seeing RCB's performance under Virat Kohli tells that you need not appoint a Captain just because he is the best batsman in the side. Back in 2013 one may argue that Kohli was amongst the best batsman in RCB, and now forget about being the best he hardly helps his team with his batting since 2017!! I thought that they guy would learn but he never did and now things have gone down to an extent where it has even affected his batting to some extent. This has been noticeable since he toured New Zealand with the Indian side. He completely deserves to be sacked now as Captain.

Well, MSD confirmed it won't be his last game in the yellow jersey. So he will definitely be a part of IPL 2021, whether that would be as a player or support staff is to be seen. Although it looks highly doubtful that it will turn out to be as a non-player.

There is no doubt that Dhoni will be playing next season, I doubt he wants his last season to be in front of an empty stadium with a wooden spoon and the squad looking poor. Will probably want to leave with at least a playoff spot sealed and the squad in better health than this season.

KL Rahul has scored at a SR of 123.56 in the PowerPlay and 122.33 in the middle phase. Though his death-overs SR is 188.67 - it is helped by the fact that he scored at 310.00 in that phase against RCB. His death-overs SR in other games is a lowly 117.50.

Lovely yorker there from Ngidi! Surely has to be retained despite any rumours of a rift.

Another wretched knock by Rahul.

Judging by how sport has been going for me, both RCB and Punjab will be knocked out.

Neesham is batting below Hooda? This is RCB level decision making from this dugout!
