I was a big fan of KKR.
I supported KKR because of Gambhir first & then SRK . With GG gone , I still supported till last year & now no team support (just enjoy the IPL) ...

Same will happen with me, when MSD will be gone. I will choose my favourite team from two new teams next year. If any team comes from North-East(Assam), it will get my first preference.

Nope, never was for me. I started following KKR because I was a huge Dada fan. Post his leave was a big Gambhir fan. Not like the GambhirFan guy (I do not remember his username). Over the years KKR has produced today's stars. Just unfortunate that the management is not far sighted and have lost a lot of good players. (SKY, Samson, Mohammad Shami). I was a fan of KKR because of Akhtar, Shane Bond, Baz, Gayle. This team was a fire power and always has had superstars. We even had Ponting.

Also I want to point out that I am a hardcore KKR supporter. It started because of Dada. I am generally right handed in all my task but I grew up watching Dada and bat left handed. Our year 1 squad was such a unique one. We had a 28 year old Chris Gayle, Ricky Ponting, Aakash Chopra, Cheteshwar Pujara, Umar Gul, Salman Butt, Akhtar, Bazz, Hussey, Ishant Sharma, etc. That was such a unique squad lead by Dada. We also had Mendis, Matthews, Agarkar. Shane Bond joining us for Season 3. Season 4 saw a complete overhaul with Gambhir leading us with Kallis, Morgan, Brett Lee, Bisla. Season 5 we saw Mohammad Shami join us (who knew letting him go would mean our Indian bowling lineup would weaken), Yusuf Pathan, Shakib al Hasan. We also had Sanju Samson at one point in our lineup. Season 4 plus saw the emergence of Sunil Narine, Ryan Ten.
Its been quite a journey, a lot of good players were part of KKR but they never invested and were smart as Mumbai Indians. Imagine, they kept investing in Sanju Samson, Mohamad Shami, they would have paid dividends today.

It's always weird to look at statements like this because I feel Gujarat does deserve a team in IPL. Gujarat only gets a chance when they look for replacement teams

Yeah totally deserves it. It's not anybody's fault that the companies that won team spots choose different places for franchise.
I just hope everything gets done in the correct manner and there are no loopholes made for someone.
