Indian Premier League - General Discussion

In all fairness, you could understand why he bowled Curran the other night ahead of Rabada, purely based on the fact TC was bowling well on the night (3/16 from his 3 overs) prior to that last over. It wasn't a tactical blunder with that logic, it's just how cricket is. If Rabada had bowled that over and CSK won then there would definitely be criticism on here on Pant and why he didn't bowl TC with those great figures.
Pant gave 19th over to Avesh who had conceded 36 runs in 3 overs.

Who do you guys think will win the Delhi dressing room "Player of the Match" award, after today's defeat to KKR?:rolleyes:lol:facepalm Awaiting Ponting's cutesy "I am a professional coach; please take note of me" post match dressing room videos...

KKR looks excellent and have a serious shot at the title! If they win, it would be a spectacular "come from behind" story (which they've done before I guess, in 2014??). I wouldn't actually mind them winning it over CSK, for whom I am very happy enough that they've reached the finals. Any further positive result for CSK is the "cherry on the cake".

I remember them in 2014, lost 5 of the first 6, so did us in 2015, and came hard to win the titles. Still I'd rather want CSK winning if Delhi fails to win which is most likely.

Kudos to Iyer, he's been a find, a fabulous all rounder, looking forward to see him in the blues, but I have a terrible feeling about Chakravarty, he won't be as effective at the highest level I'm afraid.

For Delhi, their strongest attribute didn't come to the fore tonight. The bowling has been taken apart and how!

They've had a fantastic run, quite unfortunate that they will miss out on the trophy despite being the best team for 2 consecutive years.

KKR, they've peaked at the right time. And I honestly believed that the time who cab stop a rampant CSK would be KKR. This does set up fhe final nicely-my hopes still on KKR taking the trophy.

Its not over until its over for KKR. This has been a dream comeback for us but will sill rate 2014 the better comeback. The turnaround has to be attributed to Iyer and our bowlers who have done really good. Iyer will definetly have a bright future. Lets not get him in the blues immediately and raise those talks. He has to perform in the domestics as well.

I wouldn't say the best team in 2020. MI was clearly way better than any other side the last season. I think DC had 3 consecutive seasons that were equally good for them.

Told you that it is not over until its over for KKR. Being a KKR, New York Giants, New York Yankees and Team India's fan is tough. One thing you definitely learn is being patient. With the form Morgan is in, Shakib surely should have come in earlier.

If we win this, we cannot falter like this match after match. CSK and the master mind will eat us in the finals.. only if we win.

What just happened? I logged off a bit and KKR managed to take it to the last over??? Shocking!

And Morgan departs.. wtf is wrong with this dude. People were screaming for Dinesh's head after he was not perfomring, no idea why we went with a worst Dinesh. He should be dropped for Russel for the finals.
