Even though Ashwin scored a 50 today, feel that him batting 3 only minimizes the impact of Samson at 3, arguably the more destructible player once he's in.

Not having Samson in at that stage was criminal. I definitely did not get that decision. He's been in reasonable form, isn't he? Ashwin cost them a good 10-15 runs, yes he scored at 130+ SR but that could easily have been more if a proper batsman had played that long.

Conway looks like the typical CSK cricketer who is either not recognised in world cricket or considered past it.

I think he is currently the best player for NZ by a fair margin across formats. So not too sure why won't he get enough recognition. He could've easily been their top run scorer in the WT20 had he not been shunted down to bat at 4.

Yes it is. Harsha Bhogle just confirmed it on commentary.

And as I say this, the issue has been sorted. CSK lost 2 opportunities for DRS (one of which looked clear overturn, the Conway one). Totally robbed of momentum
