Axar literally wasted the start from DC!!!
The balance of DC has been disturbed due to the injury of Stoinis.
That unfortunately is the only reason I see DC not winning this year. Stoinis was their glue player, who could fit almost every role in the team. Hopefully, he can return back into the team for Australia.
Hate to say this but I don't see Delhi winning it in the final if they have to face CSK again. It sucks because I really want to see Delhi win it this year. They have a great team but unfortunately, they don't have a player who steps up on the big day.

And Yeah csk did try to give them a tough competition in choking like sending Thakur in early instead of reputed Batters but Delhi being Delhi.
Unbelievable!! Stunning stuff from Ruturaj as always, but Robin Uthappa was a MASSIVE revelation!!! The positive thing is - Uthappa got almost the entire Powerplay for himself and he has been praying for it for years now!!!
I did not have any hopes of MSD doing it at the end!! I thought with Avesh and Rabada left and Avesh having a huge wood over MSD this season and with the man having a shocker of a season and with 13+ runs required per over, not even a prayer was there!!! But that six that he hit off Avesh sounded splendid!! But still he struggled to connect some balls and no hopes!!! But boy, what a weird captaincy and decision to give Tom Curran that final over when Rabada was available!! SHOCKER!!! Dhoni picked those slower balls beautifully, and it was game OVER!!! Still a champion style finish and I mentally choked there for a moment when that winning shot was hit!! Its possible among his last few knocks and couldn't digest it completely.
DC should've made it to the finals and should not lose hope!! But if KKR beat RCB and face DC, it will be a rip roaring contest as KKR have been the best side in this second leg of the season. CSK will feel very happy that they get 4 deserving days of rest to soak those old/tired bodies and come back refreshed for one final shot at glory!!! Possibly end of an era coming up, and they're in the finals!
A small spare of thought for Suresh Raina!! I think he might have played his last game in CSK colors. But what a champion he has been!! Bad season and very sad that he has to end if this way!! But he has been Mr. IPL and if he's done, joyous farewell to him!!!
NO! I thought it was a very brave and very good decision to send Shardul out early. Everyone was talking about how the likes of Jaddu, Bravo, Shardul were not getting enough opportunities and yet our middle order was failing. It had its logic, and its just that it did not go Shardul's way. Rayudu's wicket was a given considering how poor a runner Rayudu is. Ruturaj took a big risk on that second run since Rutu hadn't even properly grounded at the non striker when Shreyas had the ball on his hand for the throw. That twist in the middle was completely down to Shreyas Iyer making some brilliant fielding work in the middle (the boundary catch, the Shardul catch and the run out)
