Sending nightwatchman was alright, but Harbhajan would have been a better option. I hope they are not thinking of him as a full time batsman. But I have some hope in Ishant.

After batting so well, that was ordinary stuff from Gambhir. His reaction was justified. We needed him so badly to stay out there till Day 5.

Gambhir was undone by some bad bounce. Can't blame him for that, at that pace it's hard to readjust.

I like this Ishant move. He's got a good blocking technique. That's what we need really, even if he gets out the mentality is that our main batsman hasn't got out. Whereas if Sachin blocked for ages n got out, you'd be a lot more dejected.

That might be the case and he is playing beatifully, just bat the time out.
I want Ishant to do that, this wicket doesn't have much for bowlers, Ishant can do it till lunch today probably and Dravid keeping the other end.
Dravid is looking way too classy now, and is playing superbly.

Dravid is batting beatifully so far, don't wanna jinx him. Sharma, as often, is looking solid as a nightwatchman. Hope they hold out because I can't see play going on for more than 3 more overs.

Its probably over for the day's play. Umpires have offered the light to the batsmen. Good job by Ishant and Dravid to bat it out. Hope the rain doesnt spice up the pitch or the conditions tomorrow. Happy that India have atleast put up a good fight, and are still in the hunt to try for a draw.

Good job done by Ishant and Dravid there, things would have been very different if Gambhir was there.
