I think todays performance has just answered all the haters will make them shut for a while at least before they talk again about Indian batting/bowling failure overseas.

With the batting conditions far better from Day 1, India should make this count and score at least 300. Really great to watch Bhajji on song with the ball.

Not good approach by Sehwag, His style is aggressive but with series on stake he should have taken some responsibility and played safely and there goes Vijay :facepalm. India should really not waste the lead.

Now then, our batsman are undoing the lead given by our bowlers.. what a shocking shot from sehwag and dravid to get out.

India in a spot of bother now, need Sachin and lax to come up with a partnership.

At 37, nearing 38, Dravid doesnt quite seem like the same impenetrable wall he was :noway

May well be his last series for India.

Haha. I knew we were going to throw the game away. India love to throw their advantages away. And they've thrown their advantage away. What the hell is going on ?!

Sachin gone!!!seriously what are these guys doing??they seem to be very keen on losing.

A test match is supposed to last 5 days guys, not 3 !! Batsmen seem to have forgotten how to bat :-s.

Bring back subcontinent pitches :spy

A Good one from Kepler Wessels

Indians have been worrying so much about the short pitch stuff that they have forgotten how to deal with the deliveries pitched up.

I love how all of Australia, England, South Africa and India's batting lineups look lost on pitches with any sideways movement.

Not only does it show how bad current generation batsmen have gotten thanks to all the flat tracks, but it's also a good counter-argument for the 'Asians are flat-track bullies' argument. Especially when applied to Sehwag, who's 32 in the second innings is 4th highest score in this match (38 for VVS, 35 MSD, 33 Amla), and who's aggregate of 57 over two innings is the highest of all the Indian batsmen so far. If India go on to win this match, it could be the highest of the entire game.

134/4 now essentially. Stage set for another Laxman heroic and for Pujara to stamp his claim to that test team spot.

Cant just seem to understand the way this test match is going on. Both teams seize the advantage, only to give it all up within hours of seizing it. Right now, SA are right back in it and the game is on an even level. Considering that SA might not bat as badly in the 2nd innings as they did in the first, India need a 300+ target to set for SA if India have to put themselves with a good chance.

But this has been a very entertaining test match. Pujara - Boy, come on!!! Make that spot yours with a special knock

Actually as bad it seems for India right now, we can't tell that they are throwing it away, SA batted today and got out to Indian bowling attack for 131, so Pitch might be really difficult to bat on, So If India could manage to get to 200, leave SA to chase anything over 250. India would be still ahead.

:(
All this experience is fail when they capitulate with India sniffing an elusive win. At the risk of having a very hollow inexperienced middle order in near future, the least we should be expecting is Tendy/Dravid/Lax to be making the most when they are in the side. We need their brilliance here more than in subcontinental pitches. I would be gutted if batsmen end up losing this match for us :mad:mad

I don't think so, only dravid hasn't failed here. He came into this series with good form and so far till he's been in middle he has looked pretty solid. The way he got out was terrible though, but other batsman have been getting out the same way. He certainly should be given a go till England series next year, he is very important for our batting line up which more often than not depends on either of top 3 to score big.

Damn right. India's bowling sucks, we all agree. However, when you bowl SA for 131, and then if you go on to lose...well...that's enough to make any supporter around the world want to tear his hair out.
