Good little partnership developing here, 20+ runs. We need another wicket before runs required go less than 100.

Has anyone seen Ishant ever bowl a yorker?? I haven't, and I honestly don't think he knows how to bowl one. No wonder he gets pasted in ODIs.

Didn't expect India to pick up wickets.But they did exceptionally well to pick up 7 wickets and with only 3 wickets away to get the test victory.Though there were some decisions here and there.But that's all gona happen when there is not UDRS system.I am quite sure we will win this now.But don't we will win by 100 runs.They will try to score as much as they can and in the end we will win by 25-50 runs.

If these two stick together til the lead drops below 100, which I think they will, India will start to squirm a bit.
Could be up to the new ball to decide this one.
Great to see some competitive result driven test cricket lately, just shows the people who write off test cricket as "dying" because of a couple of draws on flat pitches don't know what they're talking about.
Last year it was the death of ODI cricket when Australia beat England 6-1.
Cricket, like all sport, will always have boring matches, it's just cricket being cricket, the agony of a boring match is prolonged for longer due to it not being all over in 90 minutes.

Why can't Sree always bowl the way he did today. Nice line and length, some shape on the ball, mid 130 ks, and letting the pitch and the conditions do the rest. He's fantastic when he does that, really is. And it should be expected of him now after all this time in the squad, and not just one off spells.

This partnership is starting to get annoying. Zak and Bhajji are the ones who look like taking wickets right now, I'm not convinced by Sree's and Ishant's ability to clean up the tail. They've seen off Zak's spell, so just Bhajji now. I want the tail to try to hit out.

Edit: Sharma gets a wicket off a no ball. How frustrating, it was bound to happen. Dhoni and Sehwag were visibly pissed off, and rightly so. For goodness sake man !

Ishant runs in too fast, it's why he bowls so many no balls and has no balance at the point of delivery, and this lack of balance is why he bowls so many wayward deliveries.
Remember Curtly Ambrose? He just loped in slowly, and probably had the best line and length of any bowler ever.
