Indian Tour of Sri Lanka & Triangular Series, July-August 2010

parnavitana is'nt even that good :facepalm, the quality of the indian attack is shocking to say the least. :noway

Can I just ask IF the Sri Lankans win comfortably will it be because India have fielded a weakened side................? :sarcasm :laugh (reference to the Zimbabwe defeat excuses)

And if they are, does this mean their best players are being saved for T20 or indeed the IPL?

^WTF, all are injured, who fielded a weakened side, SreeSanth and Zaheer our main seam bowlers are injured, Bhajji is down with flu but still playing and he looks exhausted after every over. Batting is just like what it used to be, how can you say India have fielded a weakened side.

India has been helped by the rain. So far, there wasn't any match play.

And it's now raining again, while the inspection would be after 15 minutes.

Don't make fool of yourself. Are you serious? How is this weak side esp when you are comparing with side which toured Zimbabwe? and will you please elaborate how we are saving our best players for other formats? Only Zaheer and Sree are not playing because they are injured and Sree is no where near best player.

Owzat has just made a fool of himself. This Indian side is not the weakest side with our best batting lineup out with the best domestic bowlers Ojha and Mithun in the side + harbhajan who cannot be blamed as he has got flu + Ishant who is looking a weak link but playing a weak player does not mean we are playing weakest side

:)

Rain wiped out all day's play.

And India has now the strongest batting line up. Only the bowling attack is weak, but that's because of injuries.

This weather isn't really helping Muralitharan at all.

Yes Murli will not be able to pick 800 wickets.

He should have retired after the 3 tests :p

Still 2 more test to go and 3 more days for this test to go but that does not matter

Why is Murali retiring after just one test in the series? He could have made this series as his farewell.

Read some news that there is a possibility that all tests could be rained off as its the peak monsoon season in SL and that the SL board have made a stupid decision of having Galle and Colombo (called the wet zones) for all tests. If so, the players could get enough rest in SL which is good. But sad it might be for Murali.

We had a similar series which was a tri-series between South Africa,India & Srilanka in Srilanka same time two years back I suppose.

Without a ball being bowled the series was canceled .
