I seriously don`t know whether Jadeja deserves a spot in the team at this point of time, till the World Cup at least. He is woefully out of form and we are`nt doing him any good by allowing him to fail time and again. We would be better suited playing a pure batsman/bowler in his place. Jadeja , at the moment will not win you any games with either of his skills.

This game has had some interesting umpiring. 5 more overs of Yuvi would have given us 130-140 runs and they were enough for this pitch.

Seriously need to throw out Rohit Sharma, Karthik and Jadeja for good if we want to make any impact in ODI games.

If India is so desperate for a Allrounder that they are playing Jadeja Irfan Pathan would have been a better choice. He's a better batsman that Jadeja, more consistent and yet to be hit for 6 consecutive sixes.(Yeah jadeja was hit for 6 sixes technically in T20 WC, when last three balls of his over and first 3 balls ofhis next over were hit for 6 against australia)

Nope. Gambhir and Sachin would be back at the top of the order. And we would`nt be playing too much cricket in Dambulla after this.

Thats what usually happens with india in WC. In 2007 Sachin was a bit out off form, they got knocked out. In 2003, Sachin Carried them to the finals and got out cheaply there and rest is history

We will not play on pitches like this in WC. Even Jadeja can make 100 on pitches we will have for world cup.

If we make pitches on which even JAdeja can score 100 then do you really see Sachin getting out. He would just go berserk if there is no life in the wicket.Only thing that contains Sachin at the start of the match is wicket. If wicket has some life then he plays cautiously at first but if wicket is flat, then you would see him playing on the up a lot more
