The 5 hours to spend.
Well, after we had our lunch, we took some rest. I had a chat with my family members by phone, and then, had some useless husk with Hedger and Thronley.:laugh
We went to ANZ stadiums to get our kits to SCG pavilion and we saw fans queuing up for tickets. We went to ANZ stadium, took our kits, had a chat with Simon Katich who was about to leave for Perth for the match against Pakistan. We wished him good luck and he even did the same. He said to be aware of Symonds as he keeps on sledging whenever the match turns to our favor. He even warned that we shouldn't have any chat with the opposition unless its a friendly one.
We bid him goodbye and got settled in pavilion of SCG. We still had 2 hours to go for the match and Hauritz arranged a meeting. In that meeting, he announced the line up. David warner was the one opening along with Shane Watson, followed by Me, followed by Dominic Thronley, followed by Hedger, followed by Freddie, followed by Dan Smith, followed by Brett Lee, followed by himself (Hauritz), Sarfaraz and Andy G. He even added that the others who aren't playing must not lose their confidence, as he kept them out as they din't had much experience. Coach Mott came up and took us to SCG dining hall where we were to have some food. Even the Bulls were there taking snacks.
I took Pineapple Juice and a piece of bun. Everyone took what they wanted. Then, we went on ground practicing. The Crowd came up and it was the time for Opening ceremony, where we had Jason Krejza Performing with mouth and guitar.
We went and Hauritz was invited by officials to sign up on the board. It was Mark Nicholas calling each and every captain, asking them to sign up on the boards.
Then, we took our seats in out Dug Out. It was toss time and we started practicing as the lights of SCG were put on. And It was Hauritz, who won the toss and decided to field first.
Daniel Smith got geared up with his Wicketkeeping pads, and we all were sitting in dug out.
The KFC Cheer leaders came out when DJ introduced them to crowd.
The Umpires came out and a Little Girl came up, asked to introduce himself. . He spoke out "Hiiee, I'm Shane Watson, Aka Watto, 28 Years of age, Right Hand Bat, Right arm fast medium."
Even Warner talked "Hiee, I'm David Warner, 23 years of age, Left Hand Bat."
They both went on to bat.
We all were fixed with collar mics so that no interruptions like a little girl, to introduce ourselves. The DJ spoke out," 9.. 8... 7....6...5....4.......3........2........1 and KFC T20 Bigbash kicks off."
Whoomp. Fireworks all around.
