India's tour of West Indies - July/August 2016

Quite dissappointed with the way Indian bowlers bowled in the last day of the play. Virat did a mistake by declaring at the end of the day 3 knowing the fact that there is a cyclon approaching towards the shore. He could've declared earlier so that they could restrict them with a lead of 100-150 runs which could be easily chased by our batsmen.

This is a lesson to both captain and the team and they can take it as a positive lesson and can learn more from it. Draw was not the result we the Indians were expecting. Although, WI batsmen did a commendable job and gave a good competition in the end. Hope to see the same fight throughout the series.

Ashwin and Mishra were quite expensive in the 2nd innings of WI play. I do want to see Jadeja replacing Mishra which gives us an additional batting option with quality spin attack. Kumble is helping those lads out there and I'm sure that we'll bounce in with much confidence and positivity in the next game.

On Day 4, if there were at least 30 more overs to play, West Indies would've been all out by then. It was cloudy, the ball was swinging, and on the 5th day it was pretty much a dead pitch, not much assistance from the pitch to help India get those last 6 wickets. Man, I thought India will win 4-0. That proves that West Indies shouldn't be underestimated.[DOUBLEPOST=1470416752][/DOUBLEPOST]I want Bhuvi to come in place of Yadav. Forget the pace, but Bhuvi can swing the ball both ways and WI had trouble aganist swing bowling

Why Jaddu? Jaddu hasn't even batted well in last few international innings. Mishra seems a better batsman than Jaddu, besides Mishra didn't really bowl well in the Second Test which was because of a dead pitch and Ashwin getting many of the West Indian batsmen out. Bhuvi should play. He's improved last few months and it would be right to unleash him.

It will be interesting to see who gets picked in the top three tomorrow's game. Even though I like having Pujara in test team, he just hasn't looked good so far and according to me, he is likely to miss out tomorrow.

Saw somewhere that this would be the stadium in Florida

Is this a joke? How come Gayle/Russellbe left and Carlos be elected.
Yup. Gayle or Russel should have been given the preference.

Gayle and Russell aren't contracted to the WICB. Braithwaite is.

Well I was expecting Jadeja to come in place of Mishra after watching Mishra bowl in last test match. Bhuvi coming in for Yadav was also kind of expected. However, Rohit making the team ahead of Vijay is a surprise. Is Vijay still unfit? If Vijay is fit and Rohit still makes the final 11 ahead of him, that is a huge call from Kohli.

I think Kohli wants to test the bench strength ahead of some important home matches
Also the West Indies is looking good with 4 pacers and also Johnson to open

Yay - Rohit at no.3 instead of Pujara

That infuses a lot of confidence :spy

Nah. Kohli is batting at no.3 followed by Rohit at no.4 and Rahane at no.5 respectively.

Ohh .. interesting !!

Strange yet Typical - we are unsettling Kohli's position to adjust the talented Sharma ji

Shielding continues - Rahane promoted up as well

I guess the Indian team management has the same amount of confidence I have in Sharma ji's abilities of tackling the new ball
