I miss Rishabh Pant in this lineup. I remember his 100 in a losing cause last time around but he is such a nice Test Batsman! In his short span of career has given me more joy watching Test Cricket compared to others.

I think 220-230 should be a decent score seeing the wicket. Also all the scores last time were around this.

Also this is a fine innings from KL. The conditions are not friendly to batting, put into bat and has played well. Post his injury he has looked like his original self rather than the self imploding KL he became in 2019-2020-2021.

SA bowlers are purposely feeding him easy balls than other batsmen. This is all a part of the elaborate BCCI's plan which CSA has agreed to and informed it's bowlers. This needs to stop and KL Rahul needs to come out and openly announce his retirement before it's too late.
