New Zealand in South Africa

New Zealand deserved to win.

Mills is a great opening bowler, I remember watching him awhile back and him and Bond are a very dangerous opening pair. It's a shame Bond isn't playing.

I don't like seeing South Africa win close matches in their home country.

The side that won deserved to win
if New Zealand took their chances they would have won
South Africa took their chances and we won and NZ shouldn't have let a guy who has a sore foot bowl.

New Zealand really needed that win and it would have made series intresting keeping in mind that SA had to win both the matches then. I think poor field placement was the thing that made KIXIS loose. I had seen Nel bat and he only has one shot, eyes closed and slam over covers or mid off. Then ehy have mid off in such crucial stage when guy is trying to bowl yorkers. Stupidity.

well that gives the players a bit of a rest i mean South Africa has had alot of cricket lately and still has alot to come one or 2 days off is just a good thing, they probaly train the rest of the days.

the most disappointing part of the series as been the catching ability of the kiwis, its been terrible coming from a team which is historically a great fielding side.

N.Z had just 1 good play session [of about 20 overs] during the 1st ODI whereas S. A are undoubtedly the 2nd Best ODI side today besides Aus. & in my view, the 3rd best Test Side as well. N. Z r probably 8th in Tests [based on only their 2007 Test form] with W.I as 7th & Pak. as 6th.

My S.A Test Squad :-
G. Smith(Capt.),Gibbs,Amla,Kallis,Prince(V.C),AB De Villiers,M. Boucher,P. Harris,A. Nel,D. Steyn,M. Ntini. 12th-S. POLLOCK,J.P. Duminy,C. Langeveldt/ M. Morkel,V. Philander.

I think my eleven I picked for the first match, which was the same as the one used except had Oram is still all good for this game. McCullum up to open again. If they're going to try him, give him a good shot at it. 40 was a good score anyway.

I'd play Patel if there is any hint at all of him getting some assistance. Only play Martin if the deck looks like it'll seam and swing everywhere like last time. Now that Oram is back we have a third seamer.

i hope Kallis performes in the next ODI he's been really disapointing in the ODI's :(

He's only played one in this series. Bit premature to judge him solely on that solitary innings. Especially when he's averaging over 60 this year.

he didn't perform much in the ODI series before this series , hes performing well but the way we know Kallis he could perform better in the ODI's.

He didn't set the world on fire, but give the man a chance. He's just scored a buckletoad of runs in his last four Tests, so it will probably take him a little while to adjust to the shorter format of the game.

well can you believe it South Africa currently on 20-3
hopefully Kallis can save us hes our only chance. :(
