But dont forget ps3 games are only 720p. X-box are 1080p!
Another lame "******" excuse i know. Just waiting for you to tell me a really genuine reason that ps3 will be better than x-box.

Well if you were on PC for AC09, you will know that everyone here plays on ps3, all the tournaments are on ps3 and its free to play online.

I have an xbox as well buddy, so you are not in some special club of having both consoles. Many peopel do.

actually forget everything I said, you should definitely get it for XBOX

That is a retarded reason to stick to an inferior console. Any BluTooth device works on ps3, I just use the one for my phone

Aren't the PS3 and Xbox 360 relatively closely matched? I've played on both and I can't see any advantages in sound or graphics. The only place I've seen that is the PC...

I really don't see the point in owning an Xbox 360 and a PS3, unless you got one for cheap/free, as I did.

Am i right in thinking NOBODY is getting this on xbox?!
I have both consoles and the idea of tournaments sounds fun. But they will only be t20 games im guessing?!
I just like the headsets so much more on x-box for talking.

I'll be getting it on Xbox, if it's any good. The jury is out whether I'm going to fork out for Xbox Live Gold, but after playing the Fight Night Round 4 demo and discovering that there's an online World Championships, then I might revise the decision...

I dunno, I love owning both consoles, and I paid full price for both.

It gives me the ability to get games which will have/or have a great community following for the Xbox, and all "self," games like soccer game and cricket games on the PS3. PS3 online community, on the most part, sucks balls! Its horrid, either full of whiney, whiney kids...American kids being the most unfavourable, which surprises me, maybe I've been in the UK too long! Also, because you can make gamer tags like no business, you get a lot of idiots.

Halo exists only on the X360 and was much cheaper to get than PS3 for a while..you sure the kids are gathered up on PS3? :p

Well there are two reasons I can think of...

1. PS3 games are region free and this is a big reason to buy the console especially if you are in North America and intend to play cricket games.

2. PS3 online is free as compared to Xbox Live for which you have to pay annual subscription fee.

I am not sure whether Xbox 360 has an inbuilt blu ray player - if it doesn't that would be reason no. 3.

That being said I've heard Xbox online experience is generally better on Xbox Live (but not for cricket though).

Considering the game was developed with a 720p native resolution, the Xbox has no benefit there (if you ignore that not being true about PS3 games).

I'll be getting it on Xbox because I don't have a PS3, which is simple enough.

I have both consoles and i enjoying playing games on both, so at the end it depends on user preference or what they have to play like exclusives etc

Yeah exactly. It just says 1080p because your HDMI cable is capable of viewing 1080p content. The game however, is still viewed at its native resolution which is 720p. No advantage for xbox in this regard.

I'd love to have both consoles but I don't have that sort of financial independence to be buying games for both. All the added costs that come with the xbox really made me think twice about getting one. I settled on PS3 because it's region free, has great media capabilities, its end cost is much less and because bluray is here to stay (unlike HD DVD which may become obsolete as bluray is simply superior). Also, I wanted to play God of War 3 which is just beastly.
