How to Install
For Vista and Windows 7 copy and paste the USER.DAT into ..\Documents\My Games\Codemasters\Ashes Cricket 2009

For IE Users
Either download with a different browser or try the .rar version. The zip version will not contain the right file.

Hi Aussie1st - I have replaced the USER.DAT file in the correct location, and the new date (21/08/09) confirms it. However, only the England and Australia squads have the correct names, but not the other international squads. What have I done wrong?

If you're using the beta patched version it uses a different location (still in the my games/codemasters folder).

A slight bit to the original players, the ones I created might be too high or too low. You can edit the stats to your liking though. I haven't made the patch with gameplay in mind, its more getting players in there and updating their stats.

Ok here is the pre-release of v1.5. I don't want to have to release it again so if there are any changes that need to be made let me know else I will make it official in a few days.

V1.5 changes

• This roster is for the AC09 patch, you can still use it for the original version but some bowler's speeds will be slower.
• Correct bats for NZ and SA players. Chanderpaul and Sarwan also have correct bats along with created players from Australia, England, NZ and SA.
• New players added for Australia, England, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies
• All players removed from previous patch have been added back in apart from Vaughan.

Note:

1. If you want the licensed players for Australia and England you will have to use Colin's player editor as the ingame editor will select from the newly created players
2. For the rest you will have to use Colin's player editor to edit in the created players.
3. Some players will still have the Codemasters/Transmission bats because their bat isn't in the game

Did you put the file in the correct place? See the solution a few posts up.

@Syl - an idea if you've not done it already is to update all the ODI lineups to the CT ones.

I think the reason for this is that Syl has removed all custom players and used the other slots so people can still add their own custom players if they want.
