I think you should try Kruger Van Wyk in tests. He has been very effective for me in the longer formats. He almost averages around 65 and has just won me a test match against England which I was losing badly.

Thanks and welcome along to the thread, but in my save, the two Kruger van Wyks have first-class averages of 32.53 and 31.35, so they are well down the pecking order. What is your van Wyk's FC average like?

I made a mistake in my last post. It is not Kruger van Wyk but his name is Divan wan Wyk. When I picked him, he had an average of 58 in FC and 46 in OD. I only use him for Test though.

Okay yes Divan van Wyk is slightly closer to the team, but mine only averages 42.32 in FC, so he's well behind Kuhn, as well as Vilas/de Villiers/Puttick. Divan's List A average is 44.48, which is better than the Kruger who I selected (ie. for ODIs). I guess I selected Kruger because he was a specialist keeper, and Divan is an "occasional" one, but going by his stumpings and catches per match, Divan would be worth a try in ODIs (in my save).

Of course to clarify, I'm not in control of South Africa (or in fact any country) in this save, so my selection is purely speculative.
