Day 1 - 1st Session

Under overcast conditions the toss is won by Yorkshire and they decide to get first use of this decent looking pitch.

Wood and Sayers open for Yorkshire and put on 60 before the first wicket falls, just before lunch.

Michael Vaughan replaces Wood and Yorkshire are 64/1 at lunch.

Yorkshire's second wicket falls just after the break. Sayers is attacking Saggers and hits him for six, but Saggers gets the last laugh as he removes his middle stump.

Lehmann joins Vaughan at the crease and the pair bat until the tea break, taking the score to 112/2.

Lehmann and Vaughan continue to build on their partnership and Kent dont look like taking a wicket. Until Key throws the ball to Walker and Kent's rotund trundler duly responds with the wicket of Vaughan in his first over.

Lehmann continues batting solidly to make his fifty.

At stumps Yorkshire are 178/3.

Day 2 - 1st Session

Lehmann and McGrath continue to frustrate the Kent attack. Until with the score on 208 Tredwell bowls Lehmann.

Wickets then arrive like buses as 2 more fall in the next 2 overs. Gale falls LBW to Tredwell and Brophy is caught. Both out for Ducks.

Then with 2 balls to go to lunch, Tredwell (Coming around the wicket) makes it four in the session bowling Shahzad for 13. An excellent spell of bowling for Tredwell has turned this game around.
