I was bored a long time ago, but would like to finish the season. To be honest I totally blame the stupid AI. The last championship game was pretty good, It was a low scoring affair and at one point I didn't think I'd make the 188 required in my second innings, they used tight field placings for pretty much the entire match and I found it hard to break through (just like one day but harder to slog). But if I make a decent score in my first innings its almost like the AI gives up. One day matches are completely spoilt by the negativity of the batsmen. Take the last one day match. Defend, Defend, Defend till the last five overs then its stupidly easy to take wickets. I may try chosing the worst option at the toss when I win them just to see if it makes the matches any better.

Nottinghamshire v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Trent Bridge
Day 1 - 1st Session

Its a lovely summer day and Kent's decision to bowl first is greeted with surprise.

After half an hour Kent get their first wicket. Saggers bangs one in a little bit shorter than normal and the ball knicks the bat and Jones takes the catch to dismiss Gallian for a duck.

The next wicket comes a further 30 minutes later, when Bravo bowls Bicknell for 32.

Hussey and Flemming take Notts through to lunch with the score at 79/2.

Keep up the good work Kev. You have done really well, as completing a whole season can take forever in this game. I just hope you get some sort of reward at the end of it all. :)

Key is reaches 61 before he misses a sweepshot and is given LBW.

Geraint Jones joins Martin van Jaarsveld and van Jaarsveld reaches his fifty with a gritty performance.

The pair look to raise the run rate after van Jaarsveld's fifty and Kent go in at tea with a lead of 71, with the score at 223/3. It's been a much better session for Kent and they look to be in full control of the match now.
