Kent v Sussex - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Canterbury
Day 4 - 2nd Session

Denly fails to get into double figures for the match when he is out for just 4 runs shortly after the break.

There is no stopping Jones though, and he brings up the 100 by smashing Mushy Ahmed for six.

Bravo is just starting to look settled at the crease and he hits Cottey for six, but Cottey has the last laugh when he removes Bravo with the very next ball.

Henderson replaces Bravo at the crease but its Jones who hits the winning runs in the next over as Kent continue to steamroller the county championship.

Lewry can be very happy with his bowling performance and it would have seen him post the best figures for wickets in an innings had it not been for Bravo's wonder over. Sagger's 4/55 from the 1st innings see's him move to 4th in the table too.

The match also saw Martin van Jaarsveld become the second Kent player to reach 1000 first class runs for the season.

Warwickshire v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Edgebaston
Day 1 - 1st Session

Its a mild, grey day but the wicket looks like a batsman's wet dream so Warwickshire have no hesitation in chosing to bat first.

They don't get the best of starts however, Frost edges to Key with the 5th ball of the match and Warwickshire are 0/1.

Wagh and Bell recover well and bat through until lunch with the score at 76/1.

He only manages to add 7 runs though and is caught by van Jaarsveld to give Saggers his second wicket.

Day 1 - 3rd Session

Trott becomes the second Warwickshire batsman to reach fifty. His landmark came in 108 balls with 9 four's and 1 six.

The only wicket of the session comes at 5:40pm when Cook accounts for the wicket of Powell for 39. Earlier in the over Powell had hit a six to bring up the 100 partnership.

At stumps Warwickshire are 233/4 and Trott is 81 not out and on this wicket he will be confident of becoming only the second player to score a century against Kent in the county championship this season.

Warwickshire v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Edgebaston
Day 2 - 1st Session

Trott's hopes of making a century are ended in the second over of the day. He tries to slog Saggers but is caught by Key having added just 1 run to his overnight score.

Warwickshire struggle to score having lost Trott and the Kent attack seem impotent so a stalemate ensues. Just before lunch Key decides to give Fulton a bowl, he gets just one over though because amazingly Warwickshire declare with the score at 260/5!

There is time for just 2 overs from Kent before lunch and the only score comes from a boundary scored by Walker.

Warwickshire v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Edgebaston
Day 3 - 1st Session

Play starts ontime on day 3 and Kent are trying to bat quickly although they will need a massive total today and then have to bowl out Warwickshire cheaply on day 4.

Kent nearly lose an early wicket when Walker is dropped in the slips on 29 but he goes on to reach his half century in 64 balls with 7 fours and no sixes.

Fulton follows shortly afterwards, his milestone coming up slightly quicker.

Carter makes an immediate impact when he enters the Warwickshire attack, he removes Walker while he is still on 50 in his first over.

That is the only wicket Warwickshire manage in the session and Kent go in at lunch with the score at 169/1, with Fulton 3 runs short of his first century of the season.
