Story Kent - A Cricket07 Story - Season Finished

Middlesex v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Lords
Day 1 - 2nd Session

The second session belonged totally to Kent. Whatever Andrew Hall had for lunch certainly helped and he looked a different player this session.

Hall and Key added just over 100 runs and the session ended without the loss of a wicket.

With both batsmen set and approaching 90 Middlesex will not be looking forward to the third session.

Hall and Key to get centuries now .....nice work Kev
I agree with you there Gamer.
Kent looking good so far this season.

Great presentation Kev keep it up :clap

The Hall face is realistic :)

Well batted, but take it easy on the CPU since you seem to bowl them out for next to nothing.

Geez how about you bat a little faster boys! Kent will be favourites for the Championship at this rate. Really like the simple layout of this story it makes it easy to follow keep up the good work.

Middlesex v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Lords
Day 1 - 3rd Session

It doesnt take long after tea for Key and Hall to get their 150 partnership.

Andrew Hall looks almost unstoppable as he races to his century.

He doesn't look quite so happy a few overs later and is bowled by Weekes for 111.

Neil Dexter joins Rob Key at the crease and its the new batsman who is making all the runs. But just after 5pm Key finally gets his century after being stuck in the nervous nineties for what must have seemed like an age for him.

In the next over the pair celebrate their 50 partnership but soon after Key falls victim to Weekes.

Jones joins Dexter at the crease and the pair making it through to the close of play, with Dexter hitting a big six straight down the ground off the last ball of the day to seal his 50.

Kent will be delighted with their days total although with such a good batting track this game is far from won, although it looks safe for at least the draw for Kent.

Middlesex v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Lords
Day 2 - 1st Session

Another session that belonged totally to Kent. Dexter and Jones made their 100 partnership in the 100th over. 7 overs later Dexter made a century for himself.

2 overs later (at 12:44) Jones made his 50.

The pair batted until lunch to take the total to 481 for 5 wickets and have yet to face the new ball.

Middlesex v Kent - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Lords
Day 2 - 2nd Session

Dexter and Jones continue their stand. But when at 3:12 Jones makes his century Key calls time on the innings.

Amazingly Middlesex only used 4 bowlers for the entire innings and never elected to take the new ball.

Ed Smith and Andrew Strauss open the Middlesex innings and Kent wil be hoping for a quick wicket before tea. But after only 2 overs rain halts play for the rest of the day and Middlesex are 0/0 with 2 days remaining.

Great batting by all the batsman there apart from Van Jaarsveld :clap
Brilliant presentation Kev a really nice and easy read :)

Four centuries in the same innings? Not often you see that.

Jones scoring a century? Not often you see that. ;)

I think they took Short Leg's tips there.

Sure Weeks had enough overs. He could have bowled for Weeks with that many overs :p (Excuse the awful joke)
