The last match showed the depth in our batting but it also reflected the loopholes in our otherwise strong bowling attack. We ain't looking for that kind of bowling performance in the all important match. Our main batters need to pull their socks up too.

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Easterns under 19's had a shaky start to the tournament, but peaked at the right time. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Seam benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Easterns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched the Tournament. It was an amazing match. Looking at the scorecards, it seems the pitch had something for everyone. It was predominantly a bowler's track but the fact that both teams managed to score 150 shows that you could bat if you are willing to stay for a while. It was great to see that everyone put in their effort. We would have been favorites at the half way stage but losing 4 wickets in the space of 9 runs quickly brought us on the ground. Luckily, our tailenders had enough ability to get us over the line.

Thank you for a very engaging and entertaining league and thanks everyone who have been a part of it to make things all the more enjoyable.
