Wow, I haven't done one of these in a while... here we go...

Nothing much to say, one of the best movies. 9/10

Hadn't seen this movie in years, and it still holds up. I miss Robin Williams. 8/10

Watched this just before Carl Weathers passed away. RIP. I think it's still one of Adam Sandler's best comedies 7/10

I haven't seen the remake, but this movie was fantastic. Don't know if I want to watch the remake after this. 8/10

As I've said before, I'm not a big fan of Zombie movies, but I really liked this movie. My wife hadn't seen it so we watched it again. 8/10

With the upcoming sequel wife hadn't seen the original. So I watched it again, still a great movie 9/10

I remember when it first came out I watched it in theaters and didn't like it, since the wife had seen the first two we decided to watch the third afterall. It was much better than I remember 7/10

I don't remember who recommended this movie to me or why it was in my watchlist, but wow. One of the best "rom/com" I've seen, the chemistry and the acting were great! 8/10

Watched The Iron Claw last night. It was very good but not great. Maybe it's cause I'd just rewatched the episode of Dark Side of the Ring about the Von Erichs the day before.

I still haven't seen the iron claw. I've heard it leaves or a ton, but that's too be expected because there's only so much you can fit into a movie without making it the Lord of the rings extended edition

Yeah, think that a six episode mini-series might have been better to flesh out the story and characters more.

I was also particularly disappointed they couldn't find a better Ric Flair.

Watched Fall Guy a few days ago. They missed a mark with the movie’s marketing IMO, should have leaned more into Gosling’s relationship with Emily as the duo had very good chemistry. The final act also felt a bit weak, they wrote themselves into a corner trying to make the stakes feel real and the danger feel like a true threat but I feel like they realised that and had to slightly scale themselves back for the end to get their happy ending. Still a solid movie though but I can understand why it didn’t run as well.

Also watched Hit Man by speeding through large parts of it. Another movie where the plot needs some healthy dose of suspension of disbelief… but the chemistry between the two leads is absolutely incredible to the point where you’re kinda rooting for them despite it being morally wrong. Another film that suffers from the final act being tonally weird compared to the rest of it but a few years down the line this may be known as the movie that truly propelled the two leads careers given how strong their performances were.

On a final note, going to watch this one today.



It has a lot riding on it given the scope and context. Hope it is a good experience.

I rented Monkey Man. I loved it. There were times I was laughing with delight at the level of violence.

Highly recommend it to anyone who likes a bloody action movie. Be particularly interested what others think. Although, from what I read the violence and political themes mean it's been 'held up' from an Indian release. Which is not surprising.

Oh and as an extra there was an extra early in the film that reminded me of Say Jhah.

Watched 'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story'

Very funny and absurd. Daniel Radcliffe is a really good comedy actor.

Probably helps if you know who Al Yankovic is. If you don't, but like a good ridiculous comedy that parodies biopics then I'd recommend it.

Liked the premise, felt they over did the American acting in the 2nd movie. Nevertheless, a good watch over some idiotic ones.
