I think this is more like a movie discussion thread, no? Anyways, Oscars 2016 nominations are out - Oscar nominations 2016 - live coverage | Film | The Guardian

I just discovered that I haven't yet seen any of those movies nominated for best picture category. Few of my recent choices were completely bad. I think most of those nominated movies should have made on blu-ray by now. So time for some blu-ray stuff.

I just discovered that I haven't yet seen any of those movies nominated for best picture category. Few of my recent choices were completely bad. I think most of those nominated movies should have made on blu-ray by now. So time for some blu-ray stuff.

I think it's either gonna be Matt Damon (for Martian) or possibly Leo di Caprio (for Revenant) who'll win the best actor Oscar. Hopefully, this time Leo will win. He deserves an Oscar for his performance in the Revenant.

I Watched The Martian Yesterday and it was awesome, full of Adventure, Drama, Funny overall it was an excellent Film.
(I like to watch Science Fiction & animated movies)

I can't say anything right now since I haven't seen any of those movies. I don't like to judge it anyways. I just follow Oscars because they always pick great films. It's more about they make me a favor by selecting some outstanding movies which I can choose later. Matt Damon and Leo both are brilliant actors. But never underestimate Michael Fassbender and Bryan Cranston, they are capable too. I haven't seen most of Eddie Redmayne. I just remember he was in Les Miserables, and he acted so well indeed (although movie is a musical drama). I'd say every year they make a list full of good performers. Always a tough task to judge the best from them.

I have watched only The Martian Movie in these and i think Matt Damon have done fabulous job in the movie. I think you are right its a tough task to judge that who is best between them.

Yes, they are really good actors. But Leo's performance in the Revenant was phenomenal, He would be more than unfortunate to not win the Oscar this time. Matt Damon, as we all know, is a fabulous actor too. But his film, Martian, relied more on its story than the acting.

Obviously it can never be easy to judge something big like The Oscars, but Leo's performance in The Revenant has been (as I said before) Phenomenal. I'm totally rooting for Leo.

You better go and watch both these films. Netflix is available in India now, maybe You should watch it on Netflix. (and chill )

Mad Max: Fury Road. Too brilliant. Probably the best action movie I've ever seen. From production quality to the acting, everything was perfect.
