Lockdown tournament (SEASON 2 - Updates in first post)

Sam Curran and Bhuvi Kumar get Short Leg up to 152 all out.

Isolated XI into second place, Short Leg XI

A win for Panthers would probably see them go second. A BIG win needed by Lockdown Losers to go second. Short Leg XI into the 9th place or 12 place group.

Hmm that wasn’t good and out of nowhere considering our great chase two days ago. At least we beat the Lunatics!

P9 Panthers gives Lockdown Losers a thrashing. It's not enough though. Isolated XI take second place and join Trump's Fringe in the quarter finals.

Panthers will have to wait on the results of the other groups to see if the make the quarters.
Lockdown Losers into the 9th place group.
Short Leg Xi into the 12th place group.
Ducks XI into the Wooden Spoon knock out.

Lunatics v Neptune Gaming starting 16:35.

Mark my words.....[DOUBLEPOST=1589475925][/DOUBLEPOST]Ali has been a waste of kit washing powder.

FOUR BIG MATCHES TODAY.

A weakened Trump's Fringe almost pulled off a win but Andile Phehlukwayo saw Ducks XI home to their first win.

Isolated XI blew away the Short Leg XI top order and eventually bowled them out. The third team they'e done that too and that helped secure second place and qualification for the quarter finals.

P9 Panters had to chase the score set by Lockdown Losers without losing more than 2 wickets. Sadly they lost 3 meaning Isolated XI pipped them by 0.02 on the RPW ratio. It will be waiting for them to see if they make it into the quarter finals through the third place route.

The battle for last in Group B produced a 'very one-sided affair' according to the commentators. Those of us watching found it to be a little closer. A very good run chase by Lunatics left them needed 18 off the last over when Sean Williams came on for his first over of the match. Lunatics got it down to 6 off the last ball but Mooen Ali instead of smashing it out of the park was trapped in front. LUNATICS ARE THE WORST. It is what we've known since round 1 of matches but now it's official. At least until they get a chance to prove themselves in the Wooden Spoon Knockout. Despite their win Neptune Gaming could still join them in the Wooden Spoon Knock Out. That depends on how things go for The Lazy Borises, Twelve Fine Legs and The Glasgow Grubbers in Group C.
