Lockdown tournament (SEASON 2 - Updates in first post)

Sarfaraz can be seen running out of the midgets locker room with tears in his eyes...

Soon, the staff can be seen taking trays out of the locker room full of Montreal's famous smoked meat sandwiches, all of which were uneaten... They are all being donated to the poor

Team sheet for the final game and it's a big comeback for Pujara...

Gilly's Grubs are through the quarter-finals after beating Montreal Midgets.

The winner of Thunder v Fire In Babylon will decide who finished top of Group B.
Absolutely wonderful, brilliant score put up on the board by the lads sealed it. The skipper 'Mr 360' continues his great form in the tournament, leading by example. Giving a chance for Hardik Pandya to open the batting payed off too and my bowlers finally took a few wickets as well.

Unfortunately David Warner's poor form continues, I believe it's due to the fact that he still has sandpaper on his mind. Anyway, see you in the finals!

An eventful day so far. My very own Lazy Borises finally showing the world what they are capable with and batting superbly including 61 off the final four overs and 29 off Marcus Stoinis. Mohammad Nawaz was in the thick of that and then in the thick of the bowling taking a record breaking 5 for 34 as Twelve Fine Legs fell short.

The first Group B elimator finished in similar fashion. A big 200+ score and the batting side falling short. It was the Grubs who made it into the quarter-finals though.

The last match was a low scoring thriller. Thunder put themselves into a great position of taking the group. Fire In Babylon were restricted to 155 in their 20 overs. Shai Hope providing some valuable runs after much of the top order failed. HOWEVER, Fire In Babylon were up for it, especially Ashley Nurse who took 4 in 8 balls, ripping through the Thunder's middle/lower order and leaving them 109/9. HOWEVER, Adam Zampa came in and played some shots with Kagiso Rabada ably supporting him with a 39 run 10th wicket partnership. With it down to 8 from 7 Rabada launched Sunil Narine down the ground but, the man who took two in the powerplay, Sheldon Cottrell was ready to take the catch. A real thriller. It is Fire In Babylon that win Group B and Thunder who are in an uneasy position of being 8th seeds with two games to go.
