Mar 17 : England vs West Indies

Bit of an unfair situation to throw Tredwell to, like him or loathe him. 58/0 and racing, no win situation for him unless he happens to take wickets which I doubt.

I'm happy to say. WRONG. Wasn't expecting him to bowl this well though and its good to see that they have finally started to use Bopara as a bowler a bit more. (he has 124 wickets at 26 in domestic OD)

the windies probably have too many bashers, the mad way they started means run rate isn't an issue but beyond sarwan, who is else is able to score a nice safe, paced 50?

cause it aint kieron pollard. mind you, you wouldn't want him coming in with 30-40 runs to get, one bad bowling change it could be match over.

Thomas lost the golden opportunity to prove himself as batsman, Pollard-Sarwan the last recognized batting pair can only save WI now from defeat. :thumbs

Suddenly england has discovered BOPARA, the bowler. :p

I would like to see now how Bopara bowls against Pollard. :cheers

Bopara is skidding in pretty nicely!! 4 back to back maidens now!! Pressure on Windeies!!

Yes that 2 maidens plus Tremlets 2 maiden :p

----------

11 runs in the last 5 overs of 2nd bowling power play

You feel this partnership will decide the match. If these two get WI to within 50 of the target, then you'd favour WIndies.

Bopara drops it, not easy, but should have taken it. Still think we'll get a chance again soon.
