No, that stat doesn't mean that Haque was better. But what is the point of sharing that ?
The point was that Bangladeshis are stupid enough to think Anamul's better than Tendulkar because of him silly stat no one even cares about.

And, more than 100,000 Bangladeshis even liked that shit.[/DISCUSSION]

And I will say the same thing - welcome to the internet ! You will find ridiculous things on here all the time.

And if you are going to judge all BD fans based on a stupid facebook post, then you are taking that post as seriously as the 100k BD fans who "allegedly" liked that post. You got issues too, my friend :spy

Exactly, every Fandom, regardless of which sport or country, has its extremists who usually end up being a very loud minority.

It is unfair to judge that Fandom based on a few bad eggs. I had Bangladeshi friends in university who were some of the nicest folks and most passionate cricket fans ever

I understand all the hate our fanbase is getting, but you do realize that Bashir Chacha himself said that there was no harrassment involved.
The Chacha incident ain't true but Sudhir Kumar (the Indian fan with the "miss you tendulkar" written on him) said he was harassed by some Bangla fans who even broke our national flag. It's that displeasure we are conveying.

I understand all the hate our fanbase is getting, but you do realize that Bashir Chacha himself said that there was no harrassment involved. I also understand you're frustrated with all the losses you've had against us, but using that as an excuse to vent out your frustration and launch ad hominem attacks is unwarranted. Also, I find it interesting that you pick out Facebook memes as a representation of an entire fanbase. You do realize that your Indian/Pakistani fanbases say the same, if not worse, attacks on Bangladeshis. I've encountered countless people online who have remorselessly branded everyone in our country as "beggars". I do not, by any means, support what some of the fans have done with their "memes" and stuff, but, you can't expect a whole group of people to simply shut up after having incredible amounts of abuse hurled at them. Some people are more passionate than others, and they will respond. However, that does not, by any means, represent the entire fanbase. I've personally met and talked to numerous Bangladeshi fans while I've lived there, ranging from domestic help and day laborers to professors and journalists. A tiny, tiny, minority expressed the extremities you have chosen to highlight so much.

I also understand the differences we've had with Pakistan and India in the past and even now, but hey, this is a sport. We may have not been good all the time, but everyone has to start somewhere. If we're going to win and you're going to clutch at straws to belittle our achievements, it's not going to help our improvement or the relationships between the countries and the fans. It's the gentleman's game. Expressions of prejudice, whether intended or not, has no room in it.
And, just because we have been unable to win last 5 of our matches against Bangladesh doesn't mean I will come here to take my frustration off targeting each and every Bangladeshi. I was frustrated, and I criticised my own team for that. Bangladesh beat us fair and square, why would I come here to criticise them? The only problem I had was the harassment of Chacha. But, now I know it wasn't true at all. Also, Chacha wasn't harassed. But what about Sudhir? Also, may I ask why did the Bangladeshi government ban Pakistani flags for the 2014 WT20?

Bangladesh fans (few) are so stupid that they're acting as if they have won the World Cup by beating top international teams at home like India, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka. I don't see any improvement in that team except their home advantage. They just invite the strong teams for couple of series in their home, beat them and declare themselves as a strong team.

Australia vs Bangladesh never happened !!!!![DOUBLEPOST=1457273828][/DOUBLEPOST]

They attacked him with ROCKS! yes i repeat ROCKS

In case the match doesn't take place I believe the championship would be shared? BUT in such a case India would be the true champion statistically. I hope the match takes place, & India wins.

Will be a challenging chase for India .. very tricky

At least we now know what to chase. Should be a good one, I feel we have the batting to do it.

Dhawan and Raina needs to fire for India to win this game.

I say do a gamble, open with Rohit and Pandya.
