Most Overrated Cricketer

Ian Bell is overrated for mine, he is no.3 and he doesnt have a great array of shots nor concentration

Muralitharan, the great destroyer of Bangladesh and always with question marks surrounding the legitimacy of his actions*

*note, that doesn't state his action is illegal, merely that people will always question it - and they do. If you were doing the old word association game that was on a few years back, dodgy action or something similar would be one of the words on the card.

Yes, the great destroyer of Bangladesh who only averages above 30 against 2 countries, Australia and India. An average of 36 against a country who are seen as miles ahead of anyone else in the world, and an average of 32 against India is also brilliant. Then he averages 20 against England, 21 against New Zealand, 23 against Pakistan, 22 against South Africa (26 IN South Africa, probably the worst place in the world to bowl spin), and 19 against West Indies. Muralitharan has 735 Test Wickets, he's far from over-rated.

I don't know why everyone is saying Dhoni. he may not be the most graceful looking, but he gets the job done, and builds his innings. In the Asia cup, he starts off very slowly but ends up with a strike rate of 100+/

I'd say Mohammed Ashraful, Andrew symmonds, and Wasim Jaffer.

what Mohammed Ashraful overrated?

I've hardly seen people even rate him.

so someone has Faisal Iqbal in their avatar/signature makes the player overrated?

Shaun Marsh he is not overrated but immensely overrated:p:p
and to the guys who saw him asthe next bradman go check your brains

If you're saying Sachin Tendulkar is overrated, Then the whole Australian team put together is overrated.
While any player who is often compared to Bradman will draw questions of worth, I think you're going to have a hard time backing up such a counter-attack.

No I only meant the current Australian Side.
