Most overrated cricketer on the planet...

Yuvi should be dropped. Kaif deserves a place. Wonderful fielder and pretty good batsman. He would be better suited for No.4. A greater chance to score runs.

So you would never drop them just because of one performance?

Even if they had 10 consecutives failures?
But they haven't had just one performance. Yuvraj won two games for us in the champions trophy (knockout), on debut. One of them was against the Aussies. He then went on, with Kaif, to win us the natwest series. If you're gonna cut heads based on last season's form, then lets just send India A all over the world.

Ian Bell is got a seriously problem with the Aussies. From what I saw i've never seen a batsman so clueless. His dismissal to Warne in the 2nd innings was embarassing. I'd actually consider recalling Mark Ramprakash. I think they need an experienced head like him up the order.

Actually that is exactly what I was hinting at ... a recall for Ramprakash for the 2nd Test against Australia.
Won't happen of course but I'd like to see it..

Bell looked ok in the first innings and was a little unlucky to get out.

Butcher would be the replacement not Caveman ramps.

I think Kaif should be promoted up the order, sp in one dayers. He scores fairly slowly in ODI. A strike rate of 74 when u come in the last 10 - 15 overs does not help. He should be playin test cricket. Yuvi should only be playin odi. He is a good slogger, excellent fielder, BUT has no idea of his off stump. Just casually throws the kitchen sink to every ball.

Bell is a good player. He is very correct technically. And you know, its not very easy facing Warne with 6 Aussies sorroundin u!

Yeah, if England elect to have him in the team long term, then it's a good thing, he will learn and build his place in the team. If they expect immediate dominance, well, good luck to that.

I dont think Ian Bell should be playing against Australia. He's too raw an inexperienced. I just think Ramprakash is experienced enough and has something to offer. He is also very technically correct. Or why not Grahame Hick. He was meant to be the saviour of England cricket but things went wrong. Maybe he has a score to settle. And wouldnt it be a story if he did play well.

Yep! Dravid and kaif ar sinilar batsmen-Martynesque, meant to settle in a build a innings, not slog. Yuvi needs to be dropped when Tendulkar and Ganguly return.
