opting for NCN over boult?Mumbai's best 11 imo
Qdk
Lynn
Rohit
Surya
Pollard
Hardik
Krunal
Chahar
Coulter-Nile
Kulkarni / Jayant
Bumrah
Wow, just wow! Actually we've got stronger than previous year and provided with lots of quality options on the bench. Hope to break even year's jinx. :d
Would like some thoughts.
he will be backup opener to de KockIMO we just messed it up by bringing Lynn. Yes Lynn is a very good player but having Lynn makes it so much tempting to play him and it means giving him the top spot and playing Rohit in the middle order. The form Rohit is in playing him in the middle is both unfair and detrimental to team's success. I doubt he would contribute that well in the middle order.
that is what i said, not for initial few matches but later on for sure, also i guess NCN at 7 doesnt give batting depth, remember that its UAE so batting wont be easy, hence we need batting till now, also jayant yadav is an all rounder so he can be shifted upGuys, guys, it's UAE, guess we need 3 spinners in the XI.
I'd go with:
Rohit
QDK
Surya
Pollard
Pandya
Pandya
NCN
Rahul
Jayant
Boult
Bumrah
He obviously should. It's a no brainer looking at his form. If he bats in the middle he won't be able to get going straight away with the pitch slowing down. And he does have the age old problem of strike rotation when he can't get going with his shots.MI has once again the age old question... Should Rohit open or not
what?looking at his form
He looked so good in practice. Like he was timing the ball so sweetly. I get a feeling if he opens he will actually play well.what?
he hasnt played any match since 8 months
all that form is gone now from validation
but he should open anyway
