I played this match watching every ball, it was worth it though i as i got the victory, and won the toss. Byrne made another century, looks like the find of the season already. Munday and Phillips starred with the ball.

A really good game. I was pleased to score over 200, a good final ten overs helped a lot.
Middlesex's top 5 all got in. Compton and Shah looked like they were going to win the game.
Banks got his man, but Morgan joined the ranks and like Shah before him, started smacking my spinners around. Just when i was giving up hope, back came Thomas into the attack as a last throw of the dice. Then it was Hammer time, bam Compton gone, bang Nash run out, bang Thomas gets Morgan. That was all she wrote, 3 wins for 3 so far in the pro 40.

A great performance overall, though batting first up was disappointing. But to come back and get the win, after a draw or defeat seemed inevitable is some achievement.

An easy victory setup by a strong batting performance. Tresco played a terrific knock and received good support from Edwards, and later on Durston.

Caddick still bowling? Isn't he about 50

Yep, he's 39. The funny thing he is looks like a old man in the game, almost bold and lots of grey hair.

4 day game at Taunton against a strong Surrey side. With most if not all of their top order batsmen liking spin bowling, i went for a seaming pitch.

A good win on a dodgy pitch which didn't favour batsmen at all. Please with the victory, on a bit of a run currently.

Thanks, but i haven't won the trophy yet, that game against Notts was a pro 40 game, the final is the next game.

This is it, this is the final. The day i, and you have been waiting for. To find out if i can achieve success in my first year. The sides are evenly matched, maybe a small advantage to Notts, but i have already beaten them before, so that should even things up. A good pitch, dodgy weather though could make it tough.

As usual, i have plenty of bowling options. I hope the players, or i, don't bottle it.
Here we go....

Good to see Kieswetter at the top of the innings. It's a strong line-up, especially with the youngsters in good form. Get rid of their first 3 batsmen and then they're in trouble. Good luck and do Somerset proud!
