Otago have played some brilliant First Class cricket lately but it's those dreadful first innings that they had early on that's letting them down. Should've had the win last round as well but blew it, only have themselves to blame if they can't reach the final.

They were always going to get no points if they continued batting on, so from the point of view of gaining points it was a good move.

But the problem that they overlooked was they gave Otago a sniff which they took, so instead of just the 2 first innings points, Otago took 8 points and more than doubled their tally of points from the first four rounds.

So does anyone know why Adam Milne isn't playing in the CD FC matches? He must be injured?

I forgot it was on until the second innings, but by the looks of things not surprisingly the Canterbury innings was dominated by Astle and Macca.

Somehow we managed to reach 227/8 after being 125/8.

It's fair to say ND tweaked that up.

Also, Flynn seems like he's going awesomely at the moment, Trent Boult can wield the bat half-decently, and Peter McGlashan bowled an over!
