Emerging Players tournament 2010

Seems appropriate, although SA might have been able to exact an upset; however, I doubt it would have greatly adjusted the tables.

Looked like SA finally got into gear only to be taken out by the rain. Can't wait for the 50 over stuff to begin to get a better look at some of the players. Pomersbach might find his way into the T20I side with this sort of form.

That website is confusing, is tomorrows game between TBC vs TBC abandoned already? It's under completed matches too

Yeah I realised it was a mistake, but wasn't sure whether they just had the date wrong or had the other information wrong. Actually I'm not sure if there was a second game yesterday because when I checked about 3 days ago they only had one match listed. But maybe that was the initial mistake...

Good to see CJ De Villiers doing well. He's one South African I'm excited about. Seems like a great prospect.

shravi added 0 Minutes and 52 Seconds later...

Because Pakistan's emerging players are in the middle of a Test series.

:laugh Too true.

Brownlie's played very well in this tournament for NZ, and Nick Beard was very economical in that game :) Opening with de Grandhomme has failed though

That was a terrible match for India, Henriques took hell out of them, nobody performed at right moment.:facepalm

Interesting Henriques isn't bowling in this tournament. About time he delivered with the bat. Faulkner again good with the bat, not so much with the ball but Starc and George really stood up there.

What a performance by NZ so far, 296 in 40 overs. A lot of the guys that performed in the T20 struggled for us. Stewart and Diamanti were brilliant, basically set up that huge total. Going to take some chasing.

lol at Diamanti's strike rate, he smacked some of your guys around. Brownlie has played exceptionally well in all the matches so far, could be one to write down for the future

2 quick wickets, including Pomersbach. It's our match to lose

Scott is killing them. At least Maddinson is still there, hopefully he can go on and make a 100 so we can take something away from this game.

Looking at the commentary of New Zealands innings it started raining sixes late in the second half. Brownlie hasn't missed out this tournament, he was impressive for Canterbury last season too.
