New Zealand in England

He certainly cashed in the first game. Hmmm interesting. I've said before once pietersen goes the english crumble. I've got a good feeling with Bell today.

Now, I actually agree with you there mate. Bell to become a hero.

Beauty from Gillespie. He's bowling really well (mind you i started watching when Wright got out). Good pace. He's improved.

Wright was unlucky, was a cracking catch from Taylor. Pietersen played a stupid shot. Bell and Bopara need to score runs now. Bell looks good every time he bats, but rarely goes on and makes a big score. He needs to do it today though, and make the most of the good pitch. Ravi desperately needs some runs, he's under abit of pressure with some other players in good form in the country. I'd still like to see Mustard back and stick Wright at 7, Mustard was starting to find his form, and I'm not a massive fan of Ambrose. He's played a few good scores in test cricket, but he's been pretty ordinary in the few innings hes played so far in ODis. Get Mustard back in.

We ? Your profile says your national team is Australia =S

Pietersen getting out early is a big loss, but he's not the only player capable of making a big score. We've got some class players to come such as Collingwood and Shah so there's every chance to make a big score yet. Pietersen's not as important to our line-up as McCullum is to New Zealands.

Im glad you lot can watch it live, I am having to listen to the commentary, as I am in college till 12.20, but the annoying thing is that the teacher we are meant to have is off ill! So we have been sent to a drop in suite to do work!

Bell is my favourite pommy player. I feel like the only person who rates bell highly. lol madsnake. I make that mistake whenever India and Australia play (my support is dual but yeah most of the time india but sometimes when i think india are favourites i support aus). Oram is looking 100%. Interesting to see how he bats today. I'm inclined to put elliot in. He seems to have a nack for wickets.

Bell gone. Knew it would happen. He does this far too often. Gets a good start and then gets a good ball and goes. Really needs to start consistently hitting scores. Colly needs an innings now. Even more pressure on Bopara as well.

Ian Bell has a large "H" on the back of his bat, that normally indicates the size of the bat doesn't it ? Does Bell use a Harrow bat ?

Do you mean on this one mate?:

England have blown it again

Lets hope New Zealand can blow it too when they bat.

Ill be shocked if we make more than 225.

Owais Shah's immense. Plays some awesome shots, has fantastic power and a very solid base. If given the chance in the side he could really prove himself to be world class. I was wrong calling him world class earlier in the thread, but he certainly has the potential to prove himself. He has shots all round the wicket and can hit sixes.

As for Ambrose. Useless. He's not good at batting down the order, get Mustard or Prior back in and stick Wright at 7. Ambrose cannot hit sixes, relies on the ball short and wide outside off stump or half volleys outside off. Get him out ffs.

Edit: Bugger. Shah's gone. As are our chances of reaching 280.
