For SA, it will be quite difficult without AB, too much lands on Amla's shoulders as one of the experienced and good batsman, while SA bowling looks like it can take any side any day. Batting is worrisome for SA.

Cook and Bavuma did what? Please don't make stuff up as you go along. Faf isn't unpredictable, he's consistently bad...

I thought they did quite well considering how flat the pitch was. I would probably bring Bracewell in for Sodhi as there is no need for 2 spinners in SA plus if needed Martin Guptill has shown that he can actually bowl.

Wagner did well the first game, but we were extremely fortunate that the ref was terrible in the second. But yes I imagine Sodhi won't be playing.

Guptill has taken 3 wickets in an innings before though I imagine Williamson would still be preferred over him, I think two of Guptill's wickets were the lucky ones?

Yeah maybe so but he was landing the ball in good areas consistently and spinning it.

Should be an intriguing series though, no AB or Morkel so NZ will fancy their chances.

Yeah wasn't it given on the back of bad decisions? Guptill seems like a good partimer and I also think Sodhi would miss out. Maybe bring Craig for Santner?

I doubt they'd drop Santner for Craig, Santner is the designated all-rounder for this series and Craig's batting stats flatter him somewhat

Craig is a terrible bowler. I don't know how he is being picked after so many bad performances. Same for Bracewell.

Nah, Bracewell seems a decent bowler, but definitely Craig should be out of the team. He bowled well at the start of his career, but then he bowled pretty bad. They should pick someone else when they go to India.
