New Zealand Tour of India, November 2010/11

it was flawed tactic to play the entire 1st session defensively. India could have really put NZ in pressure if they were a bit more aggressive against Ryder/Martin with the NZ side already being reduced down to only 3 frontline bowlers.

Harbhajan Singh averages 8.44 in his last 9 innings. wont be surprising if India now gets bowled out before reaching 450.

Ryder opening the day with the new ball is fail. McCullum should bowl :spy
It's tweaking stupid. You know the team's given up when the new ball is thrown to Ryder and Vettori (yesterday). What's the point in even taking the new ball.:facepalm

I hope Dhoni doesn't hang around playing defensively with tail around him. he should try and get quick 40-50 if possible and let NZ bat 1 session.

well .. lately he's not been hanging around at all. Hopefully he starts to do so soon enough.

We are hell bent to throw away all the advantage we gained on 1st day. :(

So apparently Dhoni might have malaria... Dravid to keep?

It would be good to roll the tail for not much at the moment :)

That's pretty sad for Dhoni.

I also don't understand why the Indian tail is batting that slow. They've already got 441 runs. Just start hitting the ball.

lol and just as you say that Harbhajan starts smacking Vettori :lol

Apparently the guys on TMS are saying Williamson chucks :rolleyes

So NZ get themselves in a decent position after getting whipped yesterday, and now they're letting Harbhajan smoke them for an extra 100 odd

India are back on track with Harbhajan getting a 50 :D

If he can continue scoring it will be quite fun. I want a 100 from him :p

New Zealand lost best 2 batting days on this track, the pitch will start doing it's thing from the 2nd half of the 3rd day onwards.

Best of luck Kiwi's.

They're finally all out. We really should have had them out for 60 or so runs less. Just Harbhajan was in our way but he managed to smack the ball to reach a half-century.

Went out for dinner and fully expecting to come back and see India still batting. Alas no. McCullum hitting 2 boundaries in his first over. This move up the order could just work.

Harbhajan Singh just made a fifty and McIntosh is already out for a duck. I felt that McIntosh shouldn't been included in the Test team for some time and he is showing now why.

Also despite the mentioned malaria Dhoni is the wicketkeeper.
