If NZ has to win, they got to get Laxman ASAP! The more you let him play, the more India's chances of survival/winning increases. With him, the other tail batters also seem to play very well. We still have Bhajji out there, and Zaheer can handle the bat himself pretty well.

Bhajji's onto 26 already! Good going. He has had a great test with the bat. How good had it been if he had replicated that success with the ball.

I wouldn't mind resting Dhoni TBH. He needs a break. Karthik will likely fill in for him though.

And unfortunately, no ones going to be dropping Bhajji. We're stuck with him. If anyone gets the chop, it'll probably be Ojha. And I'm not convinced with Mishra, he keeps screwing up at Test level.

Dropping Ojha wouldn't be smart. I've been really impressed by him. From what I've seen he keeps it economical and can take wickets too.

Which NZ bowlers are injured? Just Bennett?

Who was the last player to beat his best score in consecutive innings (or in the same test twice)? Harbhajan has the chance to be that player here in this test. The test has swung back in India's favor (or towards the draw). Laxman's 50 and Harbhajan's approaching 50. With the lead of 160+ and no wickets to fall yet, we have played really well so far. Edit: Bhajji's 50! Well played boy! 50 in consecutive innings for a guy who is still considered by someone as a tail ender due to his occasional 'brain dead style' of batting.

I don't see NZ winning this now.
Its really sad that Daniel Vettori isn't able to pick up any wickets on a 5th day wicket.
What a chance to make history goes begging,damn.
Credit to Laxman and Harbhajan though.

India may not be completely out of trouble yet, but no signs at all of declaring at a later stage , with VVS going at SR of 30.
But then again Vettori hasn't looked threatening enough to inspire Indian spinners and captain to think otherwise. Draw seems to be a likely result.
