New Zealand Tour of India, November 2010/11

I can only make out 1 thing out of dhoni's decision to not declare that is he has realized that its going to be a draw so why sweat the bowlers and players out there under hot sun. The pitch is absolutely dead flat and slow so spinners wont get much assistance too. so hes letting bhajji go for more.

Wow man, came from school and expecting NZ close to the target but was shocked to see India still batting.

and BCCI not taking UDRS is only harming India.

Anyways India just proved why they are No. 1.. someone always come to save the team (actually it's only Laxman every time) and make impossible possible.

Bit of a shame really that this is going to end in a draw.
Dhoni should have declared and made a match of it.

In the end finishing up with only three genuine bowlers, and one part-time bowler has really hurt us on day five.

The likes of Vettori who's bowled 92.5 overs so far this test match, and Martin who's bowled 51 have probably just about had it.

I'd just bowl Watling, McIntosh, McCullum and Taylor after tea, as Dhoni is just being a pussy and resting his bowlers, so we should just do the same.

NZ have missed a trick here. 5/15 they had India.. should've won this.
There's no shame in not being able to get Laxman out, especially the way he was even blocking out half-volleys. Maybe they should have made inroads at the other end, but Harbhajan has played well and NZ's 3 man attack was always going to run out of steam if a partnership formed. NZ might have had a shot if had India looked to take a risk in the interests of victory, but they have not.

There was never going to be any chance of a win for us today. We got through the short spell last night good but you are never going to cause problems with only one seamer. Vettori unfortunately just cant turn it now, its a shame cause 5-10 years ago he did get a lot. I think he had to remodel his action with injuries though which is probably why.

Boy that Harby has come along with his batting. Well done on the 100, certainly gives India that much needed handy lower order.

Apparently the game could end in next 30 minutes,if both captain agree to the fact that no result is possible.

To be fair, NZ did managed to intimidate India out of going for a win, so they've easily achieved a lot more than they might have expected at the end of day 2.

Ross Taylor gets his first few test wickets, and NZ need 295 runs to win in 24 overs.

Yawn.

MacIntosh got a pair.. thats how you dent the psyche of opposition.. uptil now only NZ has been spoiling our batsmen averages..

2-3 more wickets.. n NZ would feel the heat again for next test ;)

A pretty big psychological blow for McIntosh heading into the next match, knowing that Zaheer's got him twice for a duck.

0.6 Khan to McIntosh, OUT, 131.4 kph, McIntosh still has enough time for a pair!
This match could yet have some life in it. I hope.

C'MON ZAK AND SREE! WHOOOOOOOOOO!

How about deliberately lose seven wickets to tease India and make them wonder what if they have declared earlier...
Lmao.

Ojha to McCullum, no run, 82.1 kph, big appeal for lbw, McCullum has got an inside edge. And Sunny Gavaskar, grumpy as oll openers should be, says, "What has the inside edge got to do with lbws?" Sadly, though, Steve Davis is not listening

Literally lol'ed at that. Sunny's awesome.
